I ordered a 360 controller for my PC with some spare amazon vouchers I had.
I thought it'd be good for Fifa and some driving games. But I've been using it for all sorts, like PsXe and SNESx. Been great fun.
I know they are only official supported for games that say 'games for windows' but really it just makes consoles obsolete.

Besides. I can actually play super mario world again with what feels like a real Snes controller (well close enough).

Anyone else use one?

nah, im a big mouse fan, which also helps when i'm doing 15 things at the same time.

But the 360 controller i imagine is great for pc.

Of course. I still use my mouse. I just use the controller when playing games. Probably wont be using it for FPS' tho.

Ye but i'm usually playing a game, browsing the internet, msn-ing, downloading/looking for music at the same time.

<__ Uses a 5£ Piranha 'game controller' for any footie game on the pc. Amazing how uch difference it makes.

What extra features does the 360 one have ? Or is it just purely about looks + feel ?

I guess the only features it has is that its officially supported in some games.

I think it's more about the feeling.

Dude Controller is tons better for CoD4.

I have my xbox hooked up to my monitor. It's winrar.

in what universe? iv got cod4 on the xbox but its far better with a mouse and keyboard as is all fps, only football and racing games are good with controller

I hate the mouse. I use my 360 controller whenever possible, worked wonders for my Bioshock game and made the whole experience alot more enjoyable.

Ya I have a wireless receiver for the 360 controller to hook it up to my pc. I use it occasionally but most of the time I prefer mouse and keyboard, deathadder FTW lol

I think the controller is great, I really like it. Much better than the controller for the first Xbox, it was frigging huge wtf.
I don't play any PC games that require a controller, but I saw it in the store a while ago and figured it'd be a must buy if I ever needed one.

D-did somebody just say they play cod4 on the pc with a controller?
