I tried installing the client for this game. It created the "C:\Program Files\Jade Dynasty" folder, or whatever it's called, started installing the client files, and then about 70% or so of the way through, it gave an error saying it couldn't create the "C:\Program Files\Jade Dynasty..." folder and cancelled the installation.

There are no permission problems, and I'm not anywhere near out of disk space. So I'm not sure what the issue is there. I wanted to at least check this game out.

Hmmm,

I dont know about that issue. What i would do is write in the Tech Help section of the main forums, and send them a ticket as well.

Good idea, but I'm not sure I'll actually have time to play really. I was just curious what the game was all about. I guess I can check youtube videos for that though

im at college.. did the update include a damn filter in the chat so i can chat whilst i esper without hearing

Manual Patch Link for latest update:

If you have verstion 33 and need to update to 40:http://jd-ns.perfectworld.com/patches/manual/ec_patch_33-40.zup

If you have the original client version 17 and need to update to 40: http://jd-ns.perfectworld.com/patches/manual/ec_patch_17-40.zup

Open With the Patcher its faster and easier then DL the patch because sometimes u will have to verify which takes FOREVER! With the manual patch you wont need to verify.

Thinking of starting this game, although i dont want to go thew all the pages of this thread,Does everyone play on the same server? are their different servers i need to know about?

If someone wanted to Pm me and give me some tips/advise on what to do, what to build etc

it would be greatly appreciated (screw sro ~_~ )

Everybody plays on the same server, our alliance has around 47 people atm

Can you use your Jade Dynasty character in other realms, or only the one you create it in? I don't actually remember which realm I created my char in.

Server is perm, realms you can switch at anytime.

Though you will lose your buffz.

I'm still lvl 1. I spent a total of probably 5 minutes online. I have no buffs.

I'd be on a little more, but I'm trying to get the game to work on my Linux bootable thumb drive.
