Hype: 6/10
Graphics: 7/10
9 Dragons isn’t known for the best graphics, at the lowest settings your player can look blocky and the background very blurry but if maxed out, the game play seems to be much smoother and I rather enjoyed it and is good enough if you base your game play on graphics.
Game Play: 6/10
At the start of play after you have chosen what your character looks like and pick what area to start, need to get used to all the skills like most new mmo’s you play, you start of killing much lower mobs that that won’t bring in much money, you get to learn simple punch and kick techniques which you learn from either a quest of the dummy trainer place. One thing to let you know, the skills that you learn will level based on how many times you used it, so the more you use the skills the more stronger they will become until maxed, this was new to me when I started playing 9D.
After a certain level you can join what clan you want to be in, last time I check there was 4 you can choose from, none of them very different from each other part from the ways that they look and the weapons they use. After all that it’s very useful to join a guild to grind together or just have fun or hunt for bosses. *They are dammed hard to kill* In PvE, they first few levels say 30 is alright BUT after that without good items/weapons you will start to fill the hardness of PvE and that one of the main reasons that most player quit after level 60/70 due to the lack of exp they get from mobs. In PvP, that’s the real fun part, every Sunday you get to PvP against different clans and claim a certain area which gives you great items and loot. Normal PvP is killing each other and btw, you can’t kill your own clan players. *SUKs* The economy isn’t all that bad, kind of easy to make money if you know how to, they have rare items like most games do and one last thing to let you know, if you wanted to heal yourself, normally you would think go buy some pots, but in 9D it’s better to sit down or use skills to heal yourself cause if you wanted to heal yourself normally with items you would have to go into standard mode which means you can’t fight while using pots which kind of also suks.
Sound: 6/10
The sound isn’t all that, seeing I normally would listen to my own music while grinding.
Controls: 7/10
There’s a little to learn from the start and you should feel just at home with the controls normally using the mouse for movement and keyboard for other standard things.
Overall: 6/10
9D isn’t that best game if you want to get in real deep, cause it lacks sparks at later levels and most people would say “it’s the same old grind feat like most other F2P games” you stop getting skills at much to early levels meaning at later levels you’ll be using the same skills at if you were lower levels. Not recommended to anything who wants a good, fun game that will last long, only recommended for a short time play while looking for a better mmo.
