PS3 vs XBox 360

all i know is that every friend i have that has an xbox has problem out of them. I have never had a single problem out of my ps3...and i have literally beat the shit out of it (the plastic case is even broken)


if you do a side by side comparison of them, its impossible to say the xbox is a superior system. its just not. If it were, i would get rid of my ps3 and get an xbox.

its got less proccesing power, less ram, fewer wireless options as far as controlers/mics/keyboards, it doesnt have built in wifi, it also isnt compatible (that i know of) with linux or windows (well maybe windows since it the same company). yes the RRoD is not as major of an issue as it used to be, but they still have a problem with overheating and freezing. hell i was at my friend's playing madden on his 360, and it just shut down from overheating.

honestly no one in this topic has given an argument to clearly show the xbox as being superior to the ps3. but, contrary to that, its easy to find information (no just in this topic, but all over the internet) that shows the ps3 as being a superior system.

and im not a ps3 fanboy...if anything im a PC fanboy, i would rather consoles go away and all games be on PC's, cause they are much more capable than consoles.

First of all, hardware doesn't mean shit if you have nothing to use it with. We have a wireless headset, wireless controller, and a wireless 'keypad', but don't let that get to you. PS3 also has a 'keypad' about the same size

2nd, the 360 can run the XP Media Center shit, the difference is no Internet. And lets be honest, nobody is going to play games like SRO or WoW on their ps3. Crysis? Maybe but other than the graphics, the game is shit.

3rd, 360 is better because it has more content? GG.

cause the blu ray disks hold more that hddvd (even those arent used anymore that i know of)

GTA IV was the first GTA to go cross-console. It also had to have its content scaled down to fit on the xbox. because at that time it was having to be fit onto a 30GB disk. where as if it had stayed sony exclusive, it would have had 50GB

The sales point isnt dumb. lol People are buying 360 because of the better games and better price. If 360 was really shitty, no one would waste any money on it. But hey what do u know? Its beating PS3 sales by a mile. And no, im not talking about sales since it was released, im talking about recent sales. This point depends on the person. I think PS3 controllers are too rigid and the triggers are baldy shaped. For power, i use rechargeable batteries. And i have 2 charge and play kits.

Yeah, there is A LOT more available on the XBL marketplace. You can even buy games from the original xbox and then there are the many arcade games available. After you buy them, just download them onto your 360. I've just bought portal and banjo kazooie from my 360. And all of these have acheivements. Lol@ps3's trophy system.

Also, the new GTAIV expansion is going to be 360 exclusive.

its some internal error..something broke i looked it up as soon as it happened. i called xbox..talked to a robot for 20 min that walked me through it..im shipping it back to have fixed in 4 business days when the packaging material arrives.

it was so wierd though i was playin COD 5 with my 2 friends and i crashed and that happened. i called them both, SAME EXACT thing happened to them too! from that same game. i wonder if it was a game bug that phucked my shit up.

I have always been sony > nintendo > microsoft. Inside my heart I wish for the PS3 to fail because if anything, I have always been a sony fanboy. Even when it comes to handhelds, tvs, and other electronics - I always buy sony first.

Despite that I know deep down inside that the PS3 is inferior to the 360. There's no denying it: side by side comparison, sales figures, content, exclusives, quality of games, online community, etc. etc. etc.

The only reason nintendo has been able to succeed is because it has found its niche. It's doing well because it doesn't compete head to head with sony and microsoft; and not because of the quality of the console.

Theyre even selling trigger extensions for PS3 controllers.



You might not have any problems with the triggers, but a lot of people are; enough people to actually start selling trigger extensions..
