i am taking a risk and attacking a guy that is 2 lvls over me mys pies tell me he has 2k wine+ and has only 5 soldiers but a lvl 6 wall so we will see how it goes.. My wall is going to be lvl 7 so i feel pretty safe..

Fast research and pillaging, I guess. I started pillaging on Wednesday and I have the resources to afford to build everything I want. Research is key, IMO. No point expanding your town hall to L10 and whatnot. It doesn't do anything for you. I highly doubt anybody has the population to need a L10 Town Hall right now.
On top of that, wine and happiness. More growth = more people = more soldiers/money/supplies.

Oh, and pillage the right people. I can send five slinges to a town and come back with 20,000 gold in two hours. Pillage them that are inactive and close to home. I don't even use spies. I don't even have a spy right now, hah. I researched Espionage and I can build a hideout, but I'm busy upping my warehouse to hold more stuff.

Oh, and buy the boats. One boat can only hold 300 supplies, so even if you pillage a town with a million wine, you can only bring back 300. I have 20 boats right now. They get really expensive. I think the price doubles with each new boat you buy. My boats cost 20k per boat now, haha.



Anybody know how to get more action points?

Increasing your town level is always a good plan if you afford the happiness.
Bigger town = more people
More people = faster access to resources
More people = more gold for army upkeep
More people = more people who can research things, thus faster research.

I'm planning to research glass asap thus I can use crystals for faster research and use my crystal island as a research whore.

Next step will be colonizing a wine or a sulphur island.
Probably sulphur because I can keep my citizens happy with museums (if people actually accept my cultural treaties).

Of course. What I mean, though, is the fact that I doubt many SRFers actually have a population size in a city that you need a L10 town for. I don't know how many people a L10 city can hold, but I'm almost positive that no one here has that many people yet. I have 197 people in my main city with a happiness of 304. My growth rate is around five. But every single time it starts rising, I use them to colonize or turn them into soldiers, haha. One swordsman takes two citizens.

Uhh sorry, sulfur doesn't seem so good now, I'm being attacked and I'm thinking I'll need to use my sulphur stocks to get more phalanxs

I think I need to hold trade off, donno how this battles gonna turn out.

@above, just check their high scores if you have a certain target in mind and monitor their score and if it doesn't change or lowers they are inactive

also try to blockade their harbors first so they can't send out their resouces before you attack
