My sub doesn't expire until August. So hopefully by then I'll be able to determine whether or not NCSoft West is capable of turning their act around otherwise its back to Starcraft and Cabal for me.

I just hope 1.9 also fixes the dredgion so it's able to take back inner forts. That is really killing Triniel more than the lack of transfers/mergers.

Since they're changing fort cycles to a half hour again, but one hour cycles. I guess they're trying to make it more 'fast paced' so I assume dredgions should've been fixed with it. If not we'll see with the PTS in a few days.

@Above I'm not sure how.. but Aion isn't i.p blocked I do know that.

Why half hour cycles again? Didn't they poll the community and realized that one hours were best? Where did you get that information from?

The Abyss
The Abyss edit

1. The Abyss Fortress War interval has been changed from 2 hours to 1 hour.

As a result of this, all Fortress start times have been changed.

After the Guardian Deities appear on the Core and Top layers, they will disappear as before in 30 minutes. Once the Guardian Deity disappears, the Fortress War ends.

2. In accordance with the Fortress War interval changes, the appearance time of the Divine Fortress’ Guardian Deity General on the Base layer has been changed from 110 minutes to 50 minutes.

Among the Guardian Deity General’s stats, Maximum HP and Elemental Defense have been greatly decreased.

Source? http://powerwiki.uk.aiononline.com/aion ... nouncement

Since the dieties are really set for 2hour cycles I assume these guys are set for the 30minute cycle so they'll have either half the current hp or 1/4th the current hp. This is just guessing so don't quote me on it, but they will have their hp 'greatly' decreased as it says. I don't remember who said it but one of the GM/CM/whatever "We wanted to make the abyss fort sieges much quicker instead of a boring defending/attacking for the entire cycle." Something like that. They're aiming more face paced and switching often forts. Would make sense over a single race dominating the entire abyss across 20 something servers.(US/EU combined)

HOLY ****! So much hate on Astor formerly of SunShine for single handedly losing Asteria for the Elyos. Long story short, two Dredgions appear over Miren and Asteria. Miren Dredg passes over without a hitch, but the Asteria one drops a Seasoned Crusader right on the Veteran Dux.

Elyos grabbed aggro on the Crusader, no big deal... then Asmodians start showing up and a few leave to go stop them from taking artifacts; then Astor, L50 Elyos assassin, manages to grab aggro on the Seasoned Crusader, panics, flies off, and resets the Balaur Crusader, which then latches on to the Dux and kills it.

Elyos LFG chat literally Farking exploded with all sorts of hate threats against Astor, and he was ninja-kicked right out of SunShine the moment it happened. Good god, it was nuts.

That happened a few times when Asmodians owned Kysis in Siel.. We'd spam who ever gets aggro do not run to the diety. What happens? They run to the diety.

Sigh...finally found a rift and 2 asmos followed me in stealth for over 10 minutes with no vision of me (both from corvus). Is there some trick I don't know of or are they hacking trash?

If they rangers or sins they can see through your hide. Specially if it's 1st version. Also you should get radar that shows what skills of opposite race is being used nearby.

It was Hide II, I'm level 46 and I've never had anyone follow me like that before, though I have had people 'know' I was going to attack them..

And yes I know sins and rangers have skills to detect, mostly because I am one..hence why I have hide in the first place -.-

If they were literally following you and you were in hide walking down the path.. it's obvious that they're cheating.

Don't tell me NCSoft is Joymax #2..

Are they going to fix this shit or ban the people or what? I really don't know anything about this company and not much about the 'hacking' in this game..but I'm not going to pay for shit if I just get lamed like this...

That hack has existed since October. They've 'patched' it a few times, but still out there.

No, why?

If you're talking about this morning at the Dryrock and Sword Island, it was cause some L50 Rank 3 Templar from CYT was harassing me, Exmil (and his girl), and a few other Elyos while I was leveling my L31 Ranger out there. Things just escalated from there, with more of them showing up with a huge level difference, and I wound up logging my Cleric in and walking off with 3k AP. Whoever the Rank 2 SM was, delicious AP off of him, plus a few other Asmos that joined the fight. The other Asmos that were there, well; shit, too fuckin' bad for them.

Long story short, if people kill my alt with a rediculous level difference, I normally have my main logged in the same spot so there will be retribution. If you were caught on the end of that, sorry. Shit happens.

I see...

Some level 30 guys were yelling in region chat and LFG that you were there killing them.

Yeah, basically what happened was I was grinding my L31 Ranger out near that area, and saw Exmil (L35) getting attacked by a L50 Templar from Check Your Tears. I had my Cleric logged in that same spot, and after realizing that the Temp was too much for my Ranger to handle, I logged in my Cleric. Of course, he was gone by that time; go figure. So, I stuck around because there was another report of a Rank 2 Spiritmaster out in the area killing lowbies. So, I kept my Cleric logged in and sure enough, this guy came and I made short work of him.

Then more Asmodians started to show up.... and it just kept escalating, so I stuck around until they decided to give up. I made about 3k AP off of them, so it wasn't a total waste of time.

Long story short, you see Kaolynn out and about, you can bet that I have Allana nearby as well ;). And yes, if you search my alts name, both the results you would see are mine.

I saw that. Many lulz are to be had on AionSource Triniel forums right now. Anyway, how are you enjoying 1.9 so far? I've been testing out all my skills and what not, and man, it just gives me more reason to love my Cleric.

It's ok. I wasn't really expecting much but it fixes a lot of things. I'm still saving up AP for a second weapon for armsfusion. Oh, and no more being stun locked to death.

I see the balaur managed to take a fort from you guys with the help of multiple season crusaders.

They did.

4 Seasoned Crusaders on the Veteran Dux at Miren tonight, it was gone within just a couple of minutes. The Balaur are no longer a non-factor NPC race anymore, they mean business and damn...

Apparently it has happened on a lot of other servers too which were either Elyos or Asmodian dominated when it came to forts.

Spoiler!

I like the sound of this. Better than solo rifting and getting killed by some AoE because everyone can "see" me.

I hate that though. Considering the game is 90% elyos dominant and I'm asmodian.. I get shafted like the others. Causing more 'new' players rolling elyos and more asmodians quitting. Well I stopped playing so it doesn't matter anyhow, but I'm always up for discussion.

The fact that 3 inner forts if loot is passed to you for a week you can get around a million ap. Just.. what the ****. If my Siel owned the abyss like it did back in December I would have enough to buy me a weapon now, but 2.0 in half a year(lol) would've made me reconsider and save up more for the 55 weapon.

Oh yeah it's better than PvPing. Why float around for hours for a few thousand when you can do 3 inners for a couple hours for ~30k ap. Do that for a month and boom you got yourself enough for a weapon, but I lol people selling their items right after they do it. Silly

Got my 2nd weapon for armsfusion so PvP has become a bit easier. Also, 3 people proc'd Fenris this week and about 6 people reached 50 for the first time so things are becoming better for my legion.

grats..same here, got my lvl 30 non elite pvp tome (8% pvp attack) and merged with with my miragents, i also have another gold 16% casting speed book that i merged with terrifying book (16% attack speed%), i'm not a hardcore player and never got fed ap but have fed others most of my ap comes from grinding for bloods in core or from the occasional dredge. i am still learning this game and its easier to learn while i gots full miragents and miragent pvp weapon combo and lvl 30 pvp accessories :D

i know this other dude who is just about to get his 50 elite pvp tome and he has a jesuschi tome (19% attack speed) to fuse it with, is only tahabata's tome better than that or is there another? (without ++)
