I kept getting a ctd whenever I tried to fire a silenced usp

I've noticed a ton of similarites between this game and CS:S
lots of map elements identical, gun skins, sounds

I really do hate bravo at Snow Valley. I think once I got 1:20 while on Bravo. Its easier to pick people off and stay hidden when you're on Alpha.

I have to be on a specific team for every place.

Excuses. Its an open map.

for every Bravo respawn point there are at least 2 places alpha can camp and kill. Alpha doesn't have that problem as you can quickly get into a hiding spot and bait-then-kill other snipers. I suck at baiting on bravo, I really do hate bravo on snow valley.

IMO, its fairly easy to kill an Alpha. Since most of them just camp anyways. All you have to do is walk into their blind spot...and empty your clip. From what I've seen, Bravos are most likely to take up the camping grounds atop the map. But my speculations are so inaccurate that they don't really matter.

If I spawn in the place south of the hill near the tunnel leading to alpha I move into the small spot near the spawn. I can't be shot from the back and If I'm well hidden I can't be shot from the side. I pop out once to check the number of snipers on the hill in front (before checking that I check recent deaths because that hill is also a spawn point). I kill them, usually 3 on that hill and normally 1 or 2 akers will run down the hill because they saw me. One nade kills one then I run out and try to kill the second one with my Stock machine gun while jumping and strafing like a mad man. After that, I head into the tunnel and get behind Bravo, now I have 2 clear views of Bravo spawns. I shoot the ones on the hill, the ones on that complex thing then I climb up the water thing and get on the wall. This protects my sides and back, so I'm facing the spawn but there is a tree branch hiding me. It obscures my view but I know where they'll spawn before I die so I try to get 2 kills in before some one snipes me during their 3 seconds of invincibility. If I respawn near all those camping spots facing barvo spot "5" I move north and hide behind the bunker, from there I shoot people coming out the tunnel while a teammate camps on the other side. After that I jump over the fence and snipe who-ever is in "5". I can get at least 21 kills that way with a really low death count before the game ends.

I'm just used to Alpha.

When I first played, I always camped in one spot now I can be found in different spots on Alpha using the tunnels for quick mobility and cover. Bravo blows because at every spot there are two points from which you can be killed and there are usually more than one snipers camping for kills. If there aren't snipers theres an aker coming from behind trying to kill me. I have never had a chance to get used to Bravo. I just hate it, now Junk Flea. OMG Bravo on Junk Flea is everything a sniper can ask from a small map.

I forgot what team I prefer for pump jack, I think its alpha because you can get into several good positions to snipe.
Warhead: Bravo.
Gray Hammer: I can do both decently but I do better on bravo. Ask Dom, he has felt my shot once or twice there. I think it was that one match were the other team was stacked.
I'm not to sure about Cold Seed, I have only done one successful Cold Seed without getting a damn error half way through.

I've been missing a lot of my shots lately, Like I'll have clear aim. Shoot before they do, then I end up dead.

At Xyzzzy's game I was testing another sniper rifle. I forgot its name, but not only do I suck on Bravo I also suck with that rifle.

I got more cqb kills no scoping than with my m60. Don't know if that's good or bad.

It's actually quite a good map for that, fast gameplay I've found.

All US military ranks are pretty samey once you reach officer status...so I didn't compare those.



Actually, it looks as if they took some things from both ranking systems and mixed them together. But they still call their ranks by Army jargon. So I'll have to go with Army. (The SGM Marine rank made me re-think)

to be honest, ranks don't really matter that much to me. It's more the skill and practice that i care about. a lot of the times i find the ranks don't really reflect the skill.
