This is the creature creator, the VERY FIRST stage of spore, in spore, there are like 6 phases or something. The object of the game is to evolve this creature into a badass who can eventually span throughout the galaxy. I've been waiting for this game for years, I'm so exited for when it comes out! ^ ^

I don't think that you'll be able to interact in an alliance kind of way, is what I meant.

The whole point is to interact with eachother.

If you can attack and destroy worlds why wouldnt you be able to form alliances?

It's single player game, not multiplayer but the creatures you make and upload to Sporepedia are shared with all single player games (if you have internet connection). Same will happen with cities and vehicles since in full game you can design those as well.

lol no, its still singleplayer, and you attack other peoples planets which are run by the computer and they were downloaded to your system by their distribution methods. the person's stuff will remain unaffected as far as they are concerned. they made it like this so people cant grief

EDIT: Your partially right (if I understood what you wrote correctly) in the sence that there is no active multiplayer. But the planets other people make will act and behave just like the players do (and you can form alliances).
