Updates aren't a very solid arguement to use pro PS3.

As Xbox has been getting those exact same updates for years now, and in 2 days we get an all new desktop system, which expands all the stuff we allready had, and PS3 is just getting.

Well I did hear that this update will increase RROD very much. So I would think twice before taking the update.

you heard wrong.

Most RROD's are due to overheating and hardware mailfunctioning, furthermore a new OS is not immediatly something that increases RROD's.

Plus, the Update will become a new standard for XBOX, which will mean that you might be able to decline once or twice, but eventually will be obliged to install.

ETA 2 days.

Well sry if I'm wrong but i heard/read it on the internet that in the newest update of xbox360 which is gonna come out soon that that update would increase RROD insignificantly. :/

I have a 360 controller for my laptop. All the decent 360 games get ported, and I get to use the same controller.

If I was to buy either, I would buy PS3 for the blu-ray as it has blu ray.

Either that or something like a 100 pounds for a blu ray disc tray for my laptop.

the 360 controller is comfortable and a nice all around design, the only way I could possibly see you saying it sucks is because it doesn't have motion sensing stuff like the ps3 or wii?

Imo ps3's analogs are better than xbox's. Xbox's controller is kinda huge also (or I have little hands). Maybe becouse I have been playing with ps2 since it came out and I have always liked it.
