Ok guys I've looked it up online and I still can figure this out... I play halo...no lag whatsoever..maybe a lag spike twice a day..thats it nothing major. I go into MW2 and right off the bat I have 1 bar (red) no idea why. Noone is online in my home..I have 2.5-3 mbps speed and I have xbox wireless connector and Im probably only like 10 feet if that, away from the wireless router box. I just can't seem to figure out why I'm getting red bars everytime I play mw2...my connection on this game use to be fine 3-4 bars.

I got that in 1 try. Just turned off killstreaks and played in Barebones Pro

Same. None of them are hard to get, it's just a matter of knowing how and going for them.

Nah Mw2 has always had lag problems but for some reason randomly in the last 2 weeks I've been getting a red/yellow bars for no reason at all.

the game says NAT restricted or something along those lines and tells me to fix it lol

Well since we are talking about or connections I figured I would post this:
It seems that when I am the host of a game people get disconnected from the game and it says that lost reliable commands, leaving me as the only person that has any type of kills on the board or any type of points. Not 5 seconds after this happens everyone that lost reliable commands comes back into the game and calls me a cheater. I don't know how this happens but all I know is that this only happens in game types like Ground War, Team Death Match, pretty much ever game type besides Search and Destroy. Anyone have any ideas?

I have that issue as well. It's your router or ISP giving everyone the big middle finger. I've tried everything to fix it including DMZ on my ps3 ip address, going wired connection etc. I haven't tried going directly to modem yet because it doesn't make me host often and I don't really want to play until it does =\

Haven't played in 2 weeks. Feels nice. This game is so irritating at times. The lag is usually what pisses me off.

Dont think i'll be beating that anymore, especialy since i mainly snipe.

Yesterday was hilarious though, played with a couple of pretty good friends, Team Tactical.

4v4 sabotage, us versus 4 random people.
First round > defence, they never got a bomb plant >.<
Second round, offence... two lightweight marathon runners for the quik plant and they were never defused, fastest sabotage game i ever played haha.

Yea lol, Sabotage is one round, both attack/defend depending on which team has the bomb.

That happens with the normal scope sometimes aswell.
When im back on my pc i can upload a frame from a game i filmed xD i quikscope perfectly in the center of someones head, but not even a hitmarker.

Also, i just had a match that showed how important a good host is.
12-0 before host switch, after the host switch i still had a 4 bar conection, but i only got hitmarkers and non-registering hits, i ended up going 15-13.

Yeah, well sometimes it could be lag but often I have 4 bar so it shouldn't be a problem >.< And ofcourse a ton of hitmarkers. But you get those too with the reg scope so meh.

I use marathon + lightweight + sitrep

I might switch marathon for scavenger.

I always use a D eagle for the awesomeness xD
I only finish people off with it anyhow after hitmarkers.

Single Deagles are definitely crap. but akimbo deagle is working out pretty well for me. though you raelly gotta get used to it.
unlocking the akimbo was hell .___.
I was only getting like 2 kills with it every match. I was surviving mainly on my mates and trusty throwing knife.

lol ^^ i always use Single D eagle FMJ, it works fine for me ^__^ 2 bullets do the job, you just need to learn how to use it >.<

It's too large, my view gets blocked when I aim it down and I can't see where the guy is anymore. it's pretty accurate, but the damage it does often seems to be counted a little late like a shotgun. or maybe that's just lag...
either way, it's harder to use than the other pistols.

Good luck making long range shots unless you have tac knife, the sights are off on the deagle.

Sigh.....
The latency in this game is so damn horrible.
The last couple of matches around 60% of my deaths were simply PURELY the fault of latency.
I take a shot at someones chest, he then knifes me, on the killcam i've never fired my gun.
I shoot 4 or 5 bullets in people with D eagle (and get the hitmarkers on my screen), before getting killed by a shotgun, i've only fired one bullet on the killcam.
Or just people or killstreaks being immortal, when you shoot right through people, even if they sit still in a corner, or miss 4 stingers at one harrier.
It just sucks when you play a match going 20/7, when you know it should've been say ... 30/2 or so.

IW net cannot pick hosts for some reason, i host just fine >.> and yet my friend with cheap-shit internet keeps getting host.

I should just stop playing this game alone xD it only leads to irritation
With friends its ofcource still fun ^^

Also, i seriously hope there will be less hackers in Black Ops, with ded servers they should be pretty easely banable so.
A minute ago i was joined to a match where two people are talking in dutch about how they hate hackers, one of them claims the only way to counter them is to hack yourself... *opens up score board* the guy's at 48/0 atm and shooting through walls with his LMG what kinda logic is that >.< hacking to counter hackers.
