a friend of mine gave me this link http://forum.cabalonline.com/showpost.p ... stcount=68
and when u downloaded it just put the files in the zip into the appropriate cabal folders and replace the old ones. u'll see what i mean once u have that zip file.

i just did that, replaced all files with the new ones. all i can say is ... omg lol. its really sweet. i like the intro, Old school.

Question about adept gear. What's the max amount of +skill exp that's effective.
There's too many posts in the forums to tell which is right and wrong.

ATM you should ditch the following skills until you're high enough
* crystal cannon
* lightning lance/cannon
* hydro disc

Just go for: fire, stone and aqua cannon to combo with at lvl 9 or possibly 12.
Oh and get energy field. It's a life saver in PvE.
And don't use elemental festival. DPS is way too low imo.


EoS should benefit you more as well if you play your char well until you need the def (LS or B2F).

Thanks for the advice. I'm still a noob at this game, trying to read alot. But its kinda hard with all the abbreviations that players use, most of the times make me more confused. Have seen you post on the cabal forums and looks like you know what you're talking about

Question: Why should i get rid of light/crystal cannons? Looks to me they make more damage than stone or aqua. Are canons used even at higher levels/ranks? I see that the higher ranks have alot more buffs and less attack skills. And since I'll be skilling the next 2 weeks (exp/sp event), hopefully reaching G.Master, what skills should i get along the way? Other advices are welcomed too

My skills are all lvl 1 because i've found previously skills are hard to remove (economically). Ohh, and I almost never use Elemental Festival in pve/pvp. The only times i've used it was when i was bored and because the animation looks very cool. Have a big problem with combos. Still not used to it especially switching targets.

Lightning because it's slower then other cannons.
And if crystal does more damage you can keep it, but it'll change after a while.
As soon as your magic increases, the add damage will be less important than the amp value.

And if you don't learn to combo, you'll end up dead in PvP and in PvE after lvl 105 (or was it 110.)

think its +10% for good +30% for Exellent and +0% for Bad. I always use combos when skill PT'n

As Tako said earlier, try and learn to combo. When you get to the war maps 95+ [ Forgotten Ruin / Lakeside / Mutant Forrest / Pontus Ferrum ) You will need to have a decent combo to protect yourself there.

Good spots are rare, and people will murder / kill you for it. It's actually quite fun really lol.
Anyways, learn how to combo right and it will save your life more times than you can imagine.

lol i kill for spots no question ask well not really first i ask nicely for them to change channel if they dont do so i pk them lol xD anyways i combo all the time( if i could combo to buff i would that is how bad it is lol ) 11 hit combo with no problem after that gets hard o.O went from 71 to 75 today in 4 hours and a bit combo= priceless

for those in NA cabal mercury server, my igns are HappyNoobing and Fluff. the first one is my FA and the 2nd is my blader. im usually on my blader more nowadays.
