If the in-game community is anything like aionsource(WoW player invasion), not sure if I will be playing Aion too long. Too many people complaining about how Aion doesn't meet their casual needs and how they need to add this and take away that. Too much grind, I need quest helper, I need a dps meter, Aion has a ranger class so its copying WoW, why can't I do this in WoW but not Aion, "tank and spank" requires no skill, Aion needs mounts like WoW, etc. On and on... They're basically trying to turn the game into a WoW clone casualfest.

thats exactly what you're saying a "wow player invasion" look at their join dates. The closer you get to launch the more and more you see 2009 ppl joining the forum to bitch and moan. As a member since 2007 i can tell you the older community has been nothing but welcoming of Aion, they see it as a new game, a break from WoW or whatever else they were playing and don't want to see it end up that way. This isn't to say that Aion couldn't learn a thing or two from WoW, most games could but most of us recognize that NCsoft isn't making a WoW style game (FocusPvE with PvP attachments) its more Focused PvP with PvE attachments. I suggesting joining the servers most of the older Aion Source members and guilds are joining as they will probably be the most active and competitive servers filled with people who are playing Aion because they won't to play Aion, now WoW with wings.

But.. i'm guessing the system requirements are quite high for Aion? I was thinking about getting it when the EU version comes out, but i would have to play it on this crappy laptop.

How do the sys req compare to WoW, or SRO etc?

To be honest the game devs. in Aion used their resources beautifully....The amazing graphics in this game really do not require an advanced computer at all.

There are about 4 total per faction starting at level 17ish, standard tank and spank...very few if any special abilities. They are generally skipped all together by the general populous of the game.

Wohoo,I can run Aion on high-details (if x1650 Pro is better than x1550,which would make sens)
I am suprised on how such good graphics require such low specs.The only game that has similar graphics for low spec is Guild Wars
