Should check out Day9's Daily. Really helps you learn to improve. Especially check out the Newbie Tuesdays that he just started doing where he looks over sub-plat level replays. He's also pretty entertaining, especially when he does things like accidentally show his AIM S/N to 5000 viewers. :).

Best carrier rush build (a bit more refined from beta cause of recent changes):
9 chrono
10 pylon (yes there will be chrono leftover)
10 gas
11 chrono
13 gate
14 chrono
16 pylon
18 cycore + last nexus chrono
19 gas
22 pylon
When cycore finishes lay down stargate immediately, I also use the chrono I saved to chrono a sentry to delay, build a stalker afterwards. SKIP the 27/32 pylon you usually put and put that one late AFTER you build a fleet beacon, you won't get supply blocked if you're doing this build perfectly. (also, you should only have a sentry and stalker when your first carrier starts) njoy.

Yep, select your workers, press attack, and select the ground behind their workers. Your's will attack what they can.

A bit more advanced. Hold ALT to see your unit's life bars, select the worker that's almost dying (in the red/orange) and tell him to move away from the battle, then bring him back to fight. (Ooooo Micro!)

SCV's have more HP and win with proper micro..assuming the opponent is low tier and doesn't know how to counter.

Played my first SC2 mp game
I sucked a lot
Fortunately my opponent sucked more, so I rushed him with 30 zerglings and 8 ultralisks.

When did reapers get nerf'd? I used to be able to create like 5 or so in a couple minutes back in beta. Now they're worthless
