Mmmmmhmm, and may i say, THIS GAME IS RTS GASMIC! I'm lovin the new Empire of the rising sun, they have some neat tricks. The whole amphibian base/unit system really helps.

Yes, The Empire Of the Rising Sun is quite fun to play, Their units are very situational, being able to shift from land to air, sometimes to sea. All of their buildings are made in the form of vehicles that transform into buildings, which adds an advantage.

Wow... im kinda disapointed. Well, ive only tried a bit of the campaign and the tutorials so far though. Skirmishes might be a bit better but the game mechanics are going to be pretyt much the same.

I dont like the way you are forced to do co-op. Even if you choose single player you still have an annoying co-commander. You have some control over them but i dont want some control, i want to be doing it all myself.

I dont like being able to build on water and almost everything being amphibious, but i knew i wasnt going to like that from the moment i heard it. Sure, it hasnt been done before, but neither has building stuff on verticle surfaces, are they gonna try that next? Water is for boats, if you need to get things across you have a hovercrafts, helicopters n whatnot. Its kind of boring that you can just go anywhere now. Was fun before when you could make a little recon party with 4 soldiers and an engineer to go and capture something on an island or take a couple tanks and a MCV over to an island where there is some more ore to start building a base.

Which brings me to my next point, ore. What happened to mining for ore! Now you just got these crappy little facilites kinda like the resources in c&c generals. Again, its boring. It was fun having to keep track of your ore miners and make sure you have some tanks and infantry around the ore fields to defend them.

The AI path finding is bugged. I had some vehicles going into a corner and stopping because they couldnt go any further when if they moved 2 inches to the left they could go round, had to direct them to the corner and then where i wanted them to go.

Finally, total annihilation was a great game, one of he best RTS games even but it dosnt belong in red alert, get these empire dudes out of here!

I think thats enough complaining for now. Ill try some skirmishes tomorrow... or maybe play some red alert 2.

Have to agree with you Inno.

Quite dissapointed with the game. LOVE the menu, russian style graphics, RA1/2 sounds + music. But, it's bloody Tiberian Sun with a Soviet jacket over it.

Th game is so in your face ugly for me, the units feel so dumb ... so many new features and double attacks for units ... Muhh I never thought asking for RA2 in a new upgraded graphics suit would be so much to ask for =/

Oh, and Natasha's 2nd ability is so OP. 1 shot kill 75% of the buildings available in game with a fast rate. It's pathetic.

I've been playing skirmishes using the Rising Sun. That's what I've been wondering when I started..where the hell are the ores? I have yet to try Natasha but so far Yuriko is crap. The range is too short O.o

Gotta love the King Oni though lol..oh, and Kelly Hu
