I really want to play this game offline..... think I might pirate it as well as buy it so I can play with friends and play offline.

Re: Diablo 3 Thread [Full Release]
DVD install is rediculous. Started half an hour ago and im still at 11%. Seems alot of people get stuck on 1%, which I was but it kept slowly installing. Now im going to try something else to see if it auctually installs < 10 hours
EDIT:Found a fix for me.. copied dvd files into a folder, and ran installation as admin.. worked fine

I don't believe there is offline play in d3.

I thought my bnet account was the same for SC2 and Diablo 3. I'll need to update it once the servers come back up.

Re: Diablo 3 Thread [Full Release]
This is quite possibly the worst game release we've seen in a while. If it was any other company but Blizzard, I could understand them not being prepared for this.
However, Blizzard, having launched multiple million subscriber and more games should have their shit in order.

This. Looks like the open beta stress testing didn't do fuck all.
Btw. Does anybody know if our upgraded artisans carry onto other towns?

That's the pirating part. Never liked the idea that I have to be online to play the game which is why I'll never buy a rockstar game for pc ever again. Even offline mode steam offers is bs.

I live in Portugal and they sent it on the 14th, I guess 5 days is a pretty good delivery time, but still, longest 5 days ever.

Re: Diablo 3 Thread [Full Release]
I'm currently a level 10 Demon Hunter and I'm enjoying it a lot. A friend of mine keep complaining that it's "too blurry" and not as "solid" as Diablo 2, but I think it looks good. I like how the story is told in a moire interactive way and I think they did a lot of little things right.
As far as the "no offline mode" goes, it doesn't phase me. I always have an internet connection so as long as their servers are stable (give them 2 weeks and I think they wont be down very often) than it doesn't phase me. I also like being able to play with my friends on their servers and the auction house is a pretty cool idea too.

Level 20 Barbarian and I love it. Put the Rune on Cleave to make Cleave targets explode on death and shit just dies.

Hmm...might play a wizard as I liked it in the beta but witch doctor and monk would be nice classes also. I really really hope it comes tomorrow.

Re: Diablo 3 Thread [Full Release]
Yup 60 was reached within around 26~ hours of release.
By good, experienced gamers playing non-stop with a team, but it's still a very low amount of time.
