Maybe SRO wasn't better for you because you never had money for silk and quit at level 23. I had that benefit though, so it was a good gaming experience. However, WoW and CS probably beat RS, no competetion

Why do I have a feeling that you're a remake.

Maybe it's because when I played SRO, i never bothered to talk on here other than use Character & Skills' guides and also GD, when it told me about the new things that were coming out. Joined the OTL/Other Games, isn't that what most Silkroad retirees do?

lol, i played runescape when i was 11-12 years old, got to lv 83, got bored, quit, and never came back

I got to lvl 104, and quit a week before they took away pvping (before it was announced and such) and gave all my shit to my friend, who quit a week later and gave his shit to one of his friends lol..

Seriously, runescape was fun when I was 12 because of clan wars and guild wars and shit, but honestly they really farked it up...

I quit runescape because it was hurting my self-esteem and because they took out the wildy. That move by jagex was pure stupidity.

I don't get why everyone is qqing about wildy being changed. Sure they might of made a mistake, but they added so much more pvp content. Pvp worlds (where the whole server (except for safe zones)is like "wildy" as well as Bounty Worlds (servers that restrict players to edgeville and are basically "wildy" worlds). Not to mention all of the minigames.

Yes but that takes the pure fun on the old wild. It was funny when people would run out of wild, and you could get exactly what your opponent has on. Now a lot of people just do 76k trick.

Actually, Jagex fixed the 32k/76k trick. Now if you kill the same person more than once the chance of getting good items is reduced or something like that.
Edit: or is it the 26k for free players? :s
Edit2:I'm pretty sure that in bounty worlds you get what your opponent is wearing/carrying.

I haven't played for a long time, I don't know what kind of updates they have regarding pvp.

The point is though, you can't replace wildy with anything better.

i've been actively playing on my 7 year old account again, and i must say runescape is still one of the best online games imo. None of the other MMO's has such a cool skill and minigame system. I also like the quests

Like three way? Because there was an update, "Revenge Killing" gives a significantly less amount of loot then just random killing.

I played, for a long time F2P. Then I stopped playing it for the longest time, and I'm at a point where I'm not playing any MMO's and I Farking love MMO's so I had a sudden urge to play it again this summer, so now im P2P, CB 108 lvl 99 str
