I was thinking of buying and starting aion but I want to know is it worth it? I have read dozens of reviews some comparing it to wow and saying it wasn't all that good while others say it is not too bad.. but since you guys are playing what do you think? Is the game any good in terms of replay value and fun?

Aion is the best mmo I have ever played. It just looks great and it's actually fun lvling. All the classes are well balanced and you need to know you're character to win in pvp.
IMO aion is worth it's money.

Tolose what level did you get to? probably 3x by the amount of kinah you have.. or maybe I'm just bad at managing my money ^_^
I'm 28 atm and this game is fun as hell, just need to take it slow and have fun. You don't even need to be capped in this game to have fun, like in SRO. Very well balanced game.. a few 30s can take out a 4x, maybe even 50. Did a 50v50vE last night and it was the most fun I've had in a game in a long time.. I was one of the lowest levels there but still I helped with damage and CC.

If you do decide to play, don't make my mistake and go Gladiator. Absolutely horrible class to play so far at lv30.

Oh and so far NCsoft has not been any better in eliminating the bot problem than Joymax.

All classes are well balanced. Some said sm are bad in pvp but me being a sm I don't have the feeling I'm underpowerd. And later on pets will fly .

Get on my level. I got a 65 gunner within a week, stopped playing within the month I made it. I also made roughly 3billion kinah during that time due to god stone crafting unfortunately it probably only has like 500m now. +10 65 orange pixels and orange set due to dailies/weeklies. Game was too easy.

If you enjoy open world pvp and dont mind zerging and ganking, and if you enjoy massive battles like fortress wars in SRO (sieges in aion)then you might want to give aion a try. There are also a few instanced battlegrounds (6v6, 12v12, 24v24) and arena (1v1 or 3v3) as well if you're into that kinda thing.

i have started leveling up the new 4.5 class, the "aethertech" a new mech gundam magic dmg melee class and its almost max lvl. All i need to do now is farm the orange gear that toshiharu above was talking about.
