Yes he does. But only at level 9.

I got my first character to 10. Much funner with a 2h weapon. But, i'm going to try out the other classes now.

Ok!

Time for my Beta picks of the weekend. Most of this is actually during the last 3 hours or so. I met up with a group of people and we decided to complete the Infiltration Quest meaning we'd have to travel to Eleten. Since this game hates Amsodians it put our rift in the worst possible spot. This is our epic journey.

There are about 7 rift spots. Having checked the all the Northern areas of Morheim it meant that the rift was somewhere in the south. Here's some nice pics of Morheim

So to get south we had to travel through dangerous areas with mobs from lvl 25-35+. The cap for the beta was 25....we were lvl 22. This would not be easy.

The Rift was at the end of the hot spring area we had to run in cause it was surrounded by high lvl mobs and we ended up in an area full of high lvl mobs

Ok so when we got there we ended up in this weird valley full of lepharist that were way to high for us. Even worse was that the valley only had one entrance and one exit and to get it we had to basically go in a circle then up the sid walls then over a series of bridges. Once we did this we had to cross more the half the elyos map, locate our quest NPC who would be surrounded by elyos, talk to them long enough to complete the quest, then kill the required monsters in the area to finish things up.

Made it to the first bridge. Gryphons are fighting harpies, pretty weird but ok.

We made it to the NPC i had to talk to and killed some elyos on the way. Then we tried to complete a quest there and didn't kill anyone but they came after us anyway. We put up a good fight but they outnumbered us. I escaped to the swamp to finish what we started.

A strange name caught my eye. When i see it my eyes start to ache, i feel like vomiting, and suddenly i cannot hold back my blade hands anger!

They tracked me down. The quest i was trying to complete required me to kill monster that only spawned around the Elyos fortress, i wish i could've taken pics of it but i was flying around for my life. Anyway so i completed at least one quest, mission not a total loss. Here's some extra pics

I didn't play as much as I would of liked to. Hit 11 on a ranger, rerolled and hit 18 on a spiritmaster. Game is fun as shit.

i rolled a chanter to 15, then restarted cuz i wanted to give cleric a shot and got that to 11 or 12. i think cleric might be the way im going during release

Wish I could play the CB. All I have is the CN Aion and there's a leveling bottleneck at 17 that I hate. It forces you to get a group and it's pretty much impossible to get one.

None of the Asmodians levelled high enough to come out and play until almost the end of the event. We had to invent things to do, such as sit right outside gates of Morheim pretending to be afk. Had the Abyss all to ourselves. Finally heard of some pvp in the last few hours of the event. Too bad I was at work.

Elyos characters can't be beautiful or sexy. I don't think they make good sorcs either. lol

Ok so i spent post of CB5 grinding from 22-25. TBH i didn't get as much playtime as i would have liked because its on a weekend and i do have a social life but i managed to get to 25 in the end. Im hoping 1.5 bring enough quest with worthwhile Exp that they promised because i have no intention of playing a grinder. The harder the grind the more ppl turn to botting and cheats to get through. My guild organized PvP rift raids and an Arena Tory so that we could have some practice and some fun.

My guild organized a rift raid so this is us gathering and moving out. We basically waiting in Morheim for about 20 min getting everyone together and looking for big enough rifts when, as if on cue, the Sky Temple rift opened. So be ran/glided/flew all the way there. Was pretty awesome seeing all those black wings in the sky. There were about 30 of us btw give or take...

So we go through the rift and head out to the elyos area. We kill everyone we see along the way encountering very little resistance. We reach the outskirts of the main elyos area and proceeded to kill everyone, some ppl multiple times. We encountered some organized resistance but nothing big until we strayed too close to the city. Im guessing all those ppl we killed and more came pouring out in a fit of rage. Of course we stuck together and even against a city full of elyos were were still able to hold our ground for awhile

In the end the pigeons defeated us but we had Kisks so we ressed and decided to run around completing quest and looking for more Kisk spots. Eventually we ran into a search part and backed ourselves into a very narrow passage which could be accessed fro both sides. As we were fighting the group in front of us they had called for reinforcements i guess because a huge group started trying to get to us from the other side. We killed the group in front of us but by the time that was done the group behind us came flooding through so we made our last stand. Very fun.

These are just a group pic and various PvE activities. We killed the King Crab guy, Zublahblah at least twice during the beta that i know of anyway. I got the blue sword that he drops XD. Towards the end of beta we had alot of ppl just trying to get to 25 so the guild decided to kill elites. We headed off to the cave filled with this bug/crab things. It was basically like a raid only it wasn't instanced which was new for me and pretty fun, i still like instances though but just having a places like this directly in the world makes it feel more alive. Anyway we kept going down down down. Dunno how my leaders remembered the path but we killed several bosses including the King and at the very bottom we found the biggest mob, The Queen. So during the last 10 minutes of the beta we kicked her ass and ported out. Also very fun and a nice way to end the beta. Queen dropped something, a shield i think. King dropped a green hammer. Dunno it was something i couldn't use so i didnt care lol.

Don't worry about 1.5 patch, they say it will double the amount of quests and raise the rewards % quite a bit.
