As far as I know, there's not even rumors of Metal Gear going cross platform. I think the creator of it even said that he'd never make it for 360.

I say the Xbox 360 is better because Xbox Live play is much better (even though you have to pay for it). The graphics are great, even though they are not as good as the PS3's graphics. I have the HD cord (came with the elite) so the graphics are amazing for me so my graphics are better then most people with a PS3 because most of them don't have the HD cord. They also have more games; more people have it too. On top of all of that FPS games are better on there, and Sports games are good on there (use to PS sports games but they are good on the 360 too). I have Madden 09 and it is probably one of the best games I have played in years.

The only difference between a HDMI and DVI is the SOUND of the HDMI is better.. anyone else using DVI is same.. not like people are using the 3 color cords w/ their Playstation 3.

btw a representative of Konami mentioned at the TGS that Konami was already looking into porting the game to 360, the comments were removed from there paper at Konami's request but the statement was not retracted...thats sounds like they're doing it and they don't want to talk about it to me.
i'd go with 360, if you want to play games, go with 360, if your looking for an entertainment system where games takes a backseat, go with PS3. Sony is losing its exclusive and the same games are available cheaper and with more DLC on the 360 with the same graphics, i see no reason to buy one.

it won't be dieing any time soon, if the games lineup keeps up being as great as it is it will continue to sell very well, probably better than the ps3 still. Or at least in the US I mean. By the time blu-ray becomes an absolute necessity the next xbox will be round the corner. I mean it's a good price and great games plus great online play what more is there to ask for.
I was/am a sony fanboy. I ended up getting an xbox and I don't regret it. There is no doubt that the PS3 is technically better. With developers making games for xbox 360 and porting them, the online community, the added other goodies that come with xbox: there's just no reason to pick a PS3 over an xbox.
Im getting ps3 soon and getting assasin's creed and CoD: Worlds at war as my first games. I admit that xbox has better games atm but soon ps3 will catch up with it and then the ps3 will win (becouse of power). (Im not sony fanboy and im not saying that xbox is wrong choice. Imo ps3 is just better)
I have also an question for those who has ps3: Does online playing require payment like xbox-live? As short: Do I have to pay if I want to play online with ps3 ?

PS3 is a better choice in the long run, and by that I mean really soon.
PS3 could support better graphics, and lately we been getting a lot of updates, like trophies and PSN profiles, what PS3 lacked before in comparison to 360 is starting to equal, its all just media features anyways...

to be fair blue ray and graphics are the only thing the ps3 is better in the rest is debatable, so updates, trophies are totally stupid to bring up as the xbox had them/is getting them all the time.
Also interesting question the ps3 has 7 cel processors, the xbox has 3 dual core, which operates better?
