I wonder what a full Lan Party would be like in ground war. Since no one would lag, what would they complain about? lol campers?

EDIT: omg.. ppl in lobby bitching and moaning about someone in the party using Thermal lol. Apparently people aren't suppose to use some attachments? wtf did I miss lol

People complain at whatever they can.
I've been called a 'Noob quikscoper' before.
Basicly, if you kill your enemy in any way, your a noob.

i haven't had any problems with this game at all..... i opened my ports to the game and that good stuff.

IW net causes some problems for everyone for as far as i know "cannot connect to host" and such errors.
Also, with host migration >.< me and a friend both have a pretty good connection, we've hosted enough games before, yet IW net acts like no-1 is fit to be host and calls off the match xD

Lately i've also been having a new problem, whenever i finish a match, i dont return to the lobby but instead i return to the opening screen ...
Quite annoying when youre playing with friends x__X gotta re-establish your party after every match

What sucks hardcore is when you get like 40 +kills with a better than 4.0 ratio and your team loses.
Yesterday we almost lose to a crappy clan and we were really confused as to how they got to 7100. We looked down to notice the one person NOT in our party was 0-23

idk if it was a booster for sure as they all backed out after the beating. All of them had same clan tag while the 0-23 noob had none. Which boosters are proud to be boosters anymore for some odd reason.

mw2 hosting always baffled me.

I have a great connection, can host other games with no lag..
then mw2 comes along and shit happens like

1) everybody has a bad connection
2) people get stuck 'connecting'
3) people get some weirdass errors that dc them
4) every net application on my PC disconnects while trying to host
5) everything works fine and I don't know how/why

A lot of the issues can be over come by people learning to Open Ports / Use DMZ
It's not impossible to get host without forwarding/DMZ which is what makes those really laggy games where it takes forever to switch hosts. Then you get those errors "Cannot connect to host"

I've demilitarized my ps3 and nothing changed. I've also opened ports that I've googled for mw2. I know what I'm doing..

Like I said I can host many other games..just not mw2

Today for the first time i played with ear plugs in, instead of my usual sound system.
Its the first time i've been able to use sound xD

Been agressively quikscoping all evening, getting sick ratios.
My best was 25/3, on rust XD including a quikscope over half the map for a game winning kill.
Such an amazing evening ;P i've had enemies praising me etc, lmfao xD its just one of those times when everything goes right gotta love it

Odd, maybe your net doesn't have a fast enough ping. I am constantly the host. Prolly 7 /10 times if I play during the day.

You have terrible luck then lol. Ground war does lag more than usual. Even a 2mb upload can be a great host though. It doesn't take much at all. That's all that I have and no one ever complains of lag when I'm host, or in private matches when I'm host etc. I have a crappy router that doesn't even port forward correctly also lol. IWnet is for sure not nearly as good as it could be, but that's lack of dedicated servers. Dedicated servers are rumored to be coming back with Black Ops(Not IWnet anyways) so if it has excellent reviews and gameplay, I may switch to that when it comes out.

I made my choice, prestiged again and I'ma do it with only snipers this time, and secondaries ofc (so handguns/shotty/launchers/machine pistols only, not like I pick up a acr as my secondary ). Sniping without SoH Pro is pretty fun, and I actually managed to pull off some quickscopes haha.

lol, reminds me of one of my friends. He was hella pissed when he was playing and ended up completely owning hardcore. We went 75-20 and lower because of him. he was getting 40+ kills almost every match in TDM. Making us all look bad lol.
