I haven't played it, but I think it's one of the above average indie games?
It's got hand-drawn sprites... so that automatically makes it kind of interesting imo

Steam reviews suggest the game is beautiful and has good music, but is a little weaker on the gameplay front, but while that may sound alarming, it isn't really uncommon. Bastion, received roughly the same complaints but is highly regarded nonetheless, so don't let that put you off. And from the looks of it, the games are quite alike in gameplay style.

I enjoyed bastion a lot, and felt the gameplay was very much in line with what the game wanted to achieve. I suspect Jotun is a similar case.
