But Treyarch is at least stable for the moment. So hopefully they'll be able to get out patch fixes like Mw2 did for the first couple months. I would have definetely liked an Open Beta though =[

well dunno much about ps3, or PC (though I believe I heard PC has most hacks since its easier to get),but with a jtag xbox you can almost do anything, a friend of mine has one so I know went over to his house, he even has halo reach :D, but yea they would need some very nice security to keep away the hackers.

Well since they will have the theater function in the game, it will be easy to report people. Like it says on Josh Olin's Twitter.

We can just look at that player's Films (all are saved server-side). If he boosted or cheated, he's banned

You can "Report" users in the game (via a button). If we review that game's clip and determine they deserve a ban, we'll ban.

Thats awesome, also i read that they are not going open source in terms of Dedi servers for PC, they are doing it by contracting out companies like Game Servers. So it buts a barrier for those who make the hacks, not being able to access all the information that they could have with Open source

I don't think they ban from certain game, they ban from all. I have heard about the theatre thing, sounds good but its pretty easy to get past it.

You can record and replay your videos Treyarch say's they will tap into that and look at like the last 19 hours of footage(worst lie ever) since the videos are stored server side. But if you can transfer the videos you won't need a cap card anymore :D

Code: Select all

These wager matches are going to great. They are the reason I am so ready for the game to be out. I feel like I will be spending alot of time playing one in the chamber and the gun game.

The only problem I see is that in the xbl community, people will just exit to the dashboard before they lose their money. Hopefully Treyarch has found some way to counter those xbox douchers.

I bet that if they leave the game, they'll lose the money and others will still be able to win it.

I think wager matches are set amounts. I suppose you could buy up every contract and then only do wager matches...

I think I remember them mentioning that you could wager what you wanted but who knows maybe I misunderstood...

If that's the case, I'd watch out for the games where people wager large amounts, I'd bet those are the real pros.

I honestly think fixed wagers will make it less attractive... basically with free wagers you would be gambling relying solely on your skills on fps versus others.

I can probably bet some people are going to spend more Credits on Customization, than they are weapons.

Btw, i'll be that guy that as soon as he unlocks KS gets one of the higher lvl ones and rapes the nublets.
