i really wanna try out the game without having to pay for it
i signed up at the wowscape site, but i dont understand about the registration process on the main site. i have to register on both the official wow site and the private?
and when i download the private server launcher into the original files (from the trial version) it automatically makes it into the private server?

btw how come the thread is dead? u guys dont play anymore or what?

if I remember right, you have to sign up with the official site with the 10day free trial, just so you can download the client, and the patches. Then from there, you register on wowscape, information doesn't have to be the same as official, and with the wowscape registration, that will be what you will be logging into the game with. after you have the full game downloaded, full game patches and BC, then you download the wowscape launcher, which then lets you get access to the wowscape servers.

I played wowscape before I played retail, basically got sick of the lags, constant dcs, and it just got boring tbh. Everything was so easy, you could get 70 in 5hrs, and full end game epics in 2-3 hrs, then all there is to do is duel people, gank, and world pvp? the bgs don't even work there, atleast while I was playing. also there weren't even any scripts in it, basically mobs/bosses have scripts to cast spells, curses, ect ect like in retail wow, but on most private servers, all mobs/bosses do is melee attack, which is so easy and boring. after a month of wowscape i just got sick of it, then moved to retail wow. you can't even compare the two.

Or find a friend who plays WoW, copy and paste their client onto an external drive or something, register at WoWscape, download their launcher, profit.

Takes next to no time in comparison to downloading ALL those patches. (and if you're going from the blank WoW, which the trial download is, that's A LOT of patches you have to download)
