I'm on all day, like right now, I was playing asia server

btw, if anyone wants to 2v2 with me just tell me here or hit me up in game. I'm decent but my comp lags hard so that lowers me to average xD

I'm not used to how fast you need to expand in this game. Most games have some building room before you needa expand.

loooooooooooool

so we're on the 2 player lava planet map, the one where there is a direct access from one base to another through 2 breakable boulders right?

he massed marines, and i went 4 warpgate push with a proxy pylon near his base. he ran into my base thru those boulders with like 20 marines while i'm in his base with around 8 or 10 stalkers and we're killing each other's bases.

i won with only a nexus standing lol

You need to get used to it, best thing to do is just play whole bunch of custom games, 1v1 or 2v2( sometimes you'll get flamed in a 2v2 for being a noob lol )and practice + learn =x

I'm pretty interested in trying this...

Would Starcraft I be an option as to prepare me for when this comes out? I've never played it before but it seems cool..

So is it worth it to get Starcraft and start practicing or I wont learn anything from it

Welllllll got into 1v1 platinum. I have a feeling I'm going to get wrecked though..

My APM avg is usually 80-95. I don't really spam click or make unnecessary clicks though.

@thee_

Game is a lot different than Age of Empires 3. I'm in the copper league or w/e. :palm:

I've got called a good turtler a few times on terran. I think I'm getting better and I can banshee rush pretty good now while having a couple bunkers of 6 marines. Anytime I see zerg I'm complete defense, because of the damn rush. Protoss depends how I feel lol. Terran I just do w/e.

AoE 3 does...

I get instant death against units my army is supposedly strong against. Yea, real fun... AoE is better balanced game IMO(Yea, I know this is beta.) in terms of Macro vs Micro. Here, you can out macro the other guy but if he micros even just slightly better he will have a clear advantage.

1-8... Beginning to think this is not the type of RTS for me.

I was just on and won three matches. Banshees stealth rush = ez win. Two of the guys tried attacking me first, but supply depot and barracks was in the way(They were protoss) so they got raped before getting to the bunker hell breaking anything because I quickly repaired it. Third one put a stealth into my base, but I had pretty much cleared his base of banshees.

Well yeah.. in everything every unit has their strength and weaknesses. Usually people don't take this into account in starcraft and mass build things.

I don't understand how void rays and a few stalkers take out my phoenixes and my phoenixes only manage to kill 1 void ray before like 5 or 6 of them are destroyed by my opponents... I had 2 Colossus and 4 or 5 stalkers as well and still it was nearly gg as soon as the encounter started.

Maybe Protoss is not race for me. I usually have 2x to 3x higher resources than my opponent yet still lose. lol :palm:
