I'm in my work camp 800km away from home till the 19th. Told them I had to go home for a "family event" just so I could go and buy GTA5 and bring back my ps3 to the camp (I was supposed to stay until the 28th). Can't wait for that shit.

On GTA IV it was just game types like team death match racing etc...

Im actually a little happy there's no PC version yet of GTAV.
I'm just now doing my first playthrough of GTA IV. It's so good, Almost done with the first story. Then it's TlaD and BoGT time. Happy to hear I won't have to rush because GTA IV has been an absolute blast for me. Much more engaging than VC or SA. I've never seen a city so alive before... I'd like to spend a little more time cherishing Liberty City before I'm completed blasted away by V's los santos.
btw: the map of gta5 has been released.
It's only los Santos... it covers 1/4th the area of SA's map...
How the heck are they going to make the map bigger than SA's, RDR's and GTAIV's maps combined with just one area D:

I feel like the map is gonna be a lot of grassland/wasteland - which is how they are making it bigger than GTA4/RDR combined, but eh. San Andreas with even bigger cities would have been awesome though, San francisco (or w.e its called ingame) was awesome

Yeah kinda sucks they won't have San Fierro and Las Vanturas but I'm not too worried about the size of the map

From what I've seen on streams there's a few things I'm a little dissapointed with :/ (not a lot or anything)
- cars went back to a more classic type of control, GTA4's controls had actually kinda grown on me to the point I preferred it over the old simple controls
- Less of the fancy ragdoll stuff :/. The amount of shit that could happen with the gta4 physics was always so much fun :<
btw, did they add blinkers, gears and cruise control by any chance?

^GTA 4 had boat handling for cars imo. Considering what I've seen of the game (haven't played it), I don't like the rectangular minimap and I don't even know where the HP bar is. Oh, and they still can't add a damn speedometer...

I took a liking to that boat handling :<
The only true issue was an extremely long brake way. But at the same time it allowed for some amazing sliding.
Basically the cars in GTA4 were intended to be driven somewhat like real cars.
Break before a turn, give gas midway again, continue on. If you drove like that, you could get around very well.

No blinkers in the car, developers said for a game this size, it would be too bloated to add it in with actual functionality. I can see it as a mod for PC though :3
