Is it around Yaskers Tower?
One guy I play cs alot with decided to try Allods out during Closed Beta, he got lag like shit around that tower and to get rid of it he needed to run away from that zone and exit the game and log back on again to make it non-laggy. Strange thing, never experienced it.

Re: Allods online
Astral battle:
Long ago the planet Sarnaut was a quiet and peaceful place. It boasted numerous continents and climates and it was full of life. Many great civilizations rose and fell throughout the years, such as the June and the Zem. However, all that was changed by a magical substance known as the Astral.
In the year 4015 of the Old Era the Astral flooded into the world. It was incredibly destructive in nature and it destroyed everything it touched. Soon Sarnaut was shattered into thousands of pieces. The small chunks of land that remained were named "allods" by their inhabitants, but even these refuges were slowly devoured by the Astral.
The Great Mages of Sarnaut dedicated themselves to preserving the allods, and after many years they managed to shield the land from the Astral. Life had been saved, but now a new problem persisted. There was no way easy to move between the allods. Only the Great Mages were able to teleport between them. Sarnaut's inhabitants became isolated from one another, and life was harsh for hundreds of years.
This was completely changed with the invention of Astral ships. The first Astral ship was created when a Gibberling fisherman's boat accidentally fell into the Astral. Instead of being destroyed, the boat floated and remained completely unharmed. The cause was a tiny stone in the bottom of the boat. The stone contained a metal that was later named meteorite, and news of its properties quickly spread throughout the allods. Thus began the Era of Astral Travel.
Every player in Allods Online will be able to build their own Astral ship once they reach the higher levels. Since the ships are large and magnificent feats of engineering they take both time and money to build, but the effort it takes is well worth it. When the ship is complete players can take off into the Astral with their friends, seeking undiscovered allods and endless treasure. Players can also prey on enemy ships, stealing their treasures before they can make it back to port.
On the Astral ship itself there are a number of stations that need to be manned. There's the visor where a navigator can view the area surrounding the ship. They need to give information to the helmsman who steers the ship. Aiding the helmsman are the engine workers who operate the motor and the turbine, the devices that control the ship's speed and horizontal movement. There's also the scanner where the map of an entire hub can be viewed. This information is useful for planning a ship's course. There are repairmen who direct the goblin mechanics to repair the ship after it takes damage. Finally, there are multiple Astral cannons that need to be manned by cannoneers to take down Astral demons and enemy ships.
The Astral holds excitement and adventure for every traveler. Whether you enjoy exploration, fighting monsters on remote allods, or ship-to-ship combat, setting off into the Astral with a group of fellow adventurers is an unforgettable experience.
Goblin ball:
Eons ago the Orcish tribes continuously fought against each other, often to the death. This lessened the Orcs' place in the world since their population grew slowly, if at all. But because of their high energy the Orcs continued their bloody battles and thought of little more than war.
This was all quickly changed after an unknown inventor, possibly of otherworldly origin, taught the Orcs about a game known as Goblinball. The Orcs found this game immensely fun and it gave them another outlet for their endless energy, changing the dynamics of their culture forever. The tribes began to form teams and fight each other in Goblinball championships instead of on the battlefield. Soon the bloody feuds became rare and the Orcs began to prosper.
Shortly afterwards the popularity of Goblinball among the other races began to grow. There were matches that featured the Empire versus the Empire, the League versus the League, and then the Empire versus the League. Soon a Goblinball stadium was built to hold world championships where members of every race could play.
The object of the game is to kick a goblin that serves as a ball into the opposite team's goal. The members of a Goblinball team must effectively pass the ball to each other and guard their own goal to win. A match lasts a half an hour or until a team scores nine goals. Goblinball has become one of the most entertaining pastimes in Sarnaut, so make sure to check it out!
AFAIK This is the only end game content existing, but the game is still in OB in Russia, but they already planning a expansion(people from the Russia version said it).
Astral probably going to take most of the lvl 40's time, trying to get the best gear etc.

Re: Allods online
Dude dont waste it, I am 42 in the list now, been standing like that for 30 minutes now, now when I reaaaaally wanna play. or wait, just watched the screen.. i am at 38 now. There is hope.
Something that is bugging me is why they dont open up another server, a game is a fail if they dont even know their own success.
edit: Reading the EU forums, seems like the server is down and the only time you go down a step in the queue is when someone leaves. Some people say it is patching and some say that they shutted the game down because they realized their own failure with the Cash Shop and FoD. lol, forums are great.

Re: Allods online
Yeah but something who got me to the
side is this:
I cant believe that they actually say that it is going to stay even after all the feedback (whoever was 100% negative) from both RU, EU and NA. I wont spending a dime until they do something about this.
They ask us to discuss this manner, but there is nothing more to discuss. Damn retards. Actually I think gpotato have nothing to say about this. They are just the hosters for Astrum Nival for the EU and NA market and they get a piece of the cake, as long Astrum Nival dont do anything about this, this game going to be dead before it even started.

Dear Sarnautians,
The moment we have all been waiting for has finally arrived!
We are very excited at gPotato.eu, to begin Open Beta and finally grant access to all Europeans players without restriction to this amazing game.
During the Closed Beta Test, you have discussed the “Fear of Death”.
I wanted to remind you that we are aware of it, and that we do read and report your concerns and suggestions about it.
We are now in Open Beta, and the Fear of Death is here.
We regularly discuss this with the developer (Astrum Nival) as well as many other important topics.
Allods Online aims to have global mechanisms worldwide. Of course we will fine tune and adjust some as required per manners of play. However, right now, the Fear of Death will not be altered in the short term.
Please do continue discussing about it as we collect and analyse your feedback.

FireVortex wrote:Fear of Death?...Meaning?
It's a buff you get when you die, you are free from it until you reach level 15. It reduces all your stats for 25% for 51 minutes at level 40 and it cost around 4G to remove or ofc buy perfumes at the Item Mall to be immune from it in 30 minutes. It can stack up to 4 times, so imagine 99% of your stats gone for 51 damn minutes. I wouldn't mind this buff if you die when you solo, but in raids and etc a boss kills the whole party it is ruined for 51 minutes.
In PVP and Raids this buff shouldn't have any effect because after all this is a PVP focused game. At lvl 25 you will get to the Holy land for questing and that is the first zone where you will interact with the other faction. Many lvl 40 players stand there ganking all the low levels for combat glory. You can put your flag down so you cant be attacked but like 90% of the quests there is about killing the opposite faction so it wouldn't matter.
They really need to remove this or really do some serious tweaks to make it work. Paying 4G every time you die is just to much in the long run.

When you just talk about that buff it sounds like nothing, but when you experience it yourself you want to stick your eyes out, squeeze the right eye until it pops, take the left one in, pull it out again and eat it up. It's fucking annoying.
And dont bother trying to log in, I got to the n1 in the queue, you disconnect as soon it changes from 2 to 1. The server is down.

Re: Allods online
Ship to ship astral battles sounds interesting. Far more PvP than I thought. Based on it's appearance I was expecting a deeper PvE element to it.
The Goblin ball should be hilarious based on those descriptions.
I'll keep reading this thread for more information.

Yeah, and I think the only way to achieve the Legendary gear is thru the Astral, cant confim this though. It is just something I've heard.
