Re: Steam Summer Sale 2014
turns out i don't want cs:go as much as i had thought. 50% off and i didn't take it, mostly because it's been 75% off before and i don't see why it should be as much off as games that are about 1 year old.

Caved and bought Payday 2 (+some dlc) despite knowing stealth gameplay is moot in it

Re: Steam Summer Sale 2014
Picked up Speedrunners, awesome game. It's in beta right now; so there are bugs here and there, the most detrimental one is a bug that crashes your client when you play in a custom lobby, not sure what causes it. Other than the crashes, this game is huge fun with or without friends.

Has anybody gotten the pinkteam emote or pink wallpapers?
I'll trade em for a purpleteam emote or purple/red walls
I'd like to keep a little fitting souvenir

Re: Steam Summer Sale 2014
Alright... the aftermath:
- 2.49 Mirror's edge
- 9.21 halflife pack
- 9.21 halflife pack (x2 voor ed)
- 4.95 Far Cry 3
- FREE Blood Dragon (ed pays)
- FREE Dark Souls (ed pays)
- 4.99 XCOM
- 9.49 Banished
- FREE Amnesia (3.29 mila pays)
- 2.99 Brutal Legend
- 1.99 Titan Quest Gold
- 6.79 Fallout:NV ultimate
- 1.99 Mass Effect 1
- 4.99 Mass Effect 2
- FREE Tomb Raider (17.49 mila pays)
- FREE Lost Planet (3.75 mila pays)
- 2.49 fallout 1
- 2.49 fallout 2
- 2.49 fallout tactics
- 3.58 Bastion + OST
- 6.99 CS:GO
- 3.74 Dishonered
- 6.24 Portal 1 + Portal 2
- 9.99 Metal Gear Rising
I've spent €97.10 of my own money, which roughly equals 2 AAA games at launch.
At the beginning of this sale I had 38 entries in my game library
At the end of it I have 83.
That's 45 games for the price of 2.
Looking at the money spent, I'm tempted to cry... Looking at what I achieved with it I feel quite happy
Oh yeah, I also put a ton of effort into crafting the summer sets @__@. Essentially powerleveled both myself and my friend from lvl2 to lvl 10 and 8 respectively so we could claim our cards from the votes D:
Ended up collecting a full sets of 4x summer adventure set, a Skyrim set, Natural Selection 2 set and 2x CS:GO sets.
My friend then managed to obtain 2 foil cards from his votes which I got to sell for a 2.50 profit
All this trading in the marketplaces and reddit felt strangely fulfilling

Re: Steam Summer Sale 2014
Picked up Tomb Raider and Fallout NV Ultimate Edition as my final purchases. Enjoying Tomb Raider so far, but as a 100% competitionist, it's a fucking headache.

Re: Steam Summer Sale 2014
I bagged these for the summer:
1) Tomb Raider
2) Assassin creed Black Flag
3) Arma 3
4) Wargame Red Dragon
5) The Amazing Spiderman 2 (only 10% off but glad I got it anyways)
6) Borderlands 2
7) Metal Gear Rising: Revenge
I barely game as much as I used to but I figure I'd get them for when I feel the need to play some games...Plus the prices where good...

Tomb raider was very fun. I usually try to get 100% completion in games that have little things to collect like in this one, it was very enjoyable. The only thing I need help finding were the totems, those bastards are sneeky.
