I Have No Mouth and I Must Scream plunges you into a harrowing adventure deep within the belly of an electronic beast. Uncover the last humans' deepest, darkest secrets. Defend yourself against AM's continuous psychological onslaught. Solve the riddles of the past and perhaps free yourself from AM's clutches once and for all in an adventure you'll never forget!"

Graphics: The graphics are pixels, since it was originally released in 1995.

Gameplay: The gameplay is old school point and click with some pixel hunting.

Sound: The sounds are so so, the voice acting is a bit meh but Harlan Ellison as AM feels just right. The music is pretty good.

Controls: Point and click.

Overall: Much like the book, this game is very, very dark. It's also very challenging. There are many difficult moral choices you must make, sometimes the choice you think should be right may be wrong, so don't be so quick to decide. It's not a game you can rush through and it really makes you use your head. Harlan Ellison said it was meant for the player to never get the "very good" ending. Though the game is old, it's definitely something you'll want to check out if you're into dark stories. Of course there are some scenes that were removed from the game due to being too disturbing. Ahem, example, let's say "Dinner cradle". The game has different endings so there is reply value if you're interested. I'm currently trying to get the worst ending. Also, the book is short and very good! (And much more graphic).
