Also why not just give it a try? It's free for a weekend so if you're curious just give it a go, it's not like you will have to put in your credit card already :p

Waiting for f2p, game will be a lot more polished then and not require a subscription.

Agreed, but Beta is at least a look to see if it's worth playing even when it goes F2P.

I've also got a history of subbing to new MMOs when they come out, even if I don't play it long. That way, usually down the line, I end up getting some sort of past subscriber bonus when it goes F2P

Played it some. Got to lvl 4 and uninstalled it. Would probably have played more if the game wasn't gonna be p2p. Btw, the character creation wasn't good enough for me. Couldn't create the face I wanted to, and there weren't any hairstyles I would have liked. Didn't seem to many options as far as colors either. Colors are difficult for me anyways as I'm slightly colorblind. I would have liked if the height slider went a bit further down and that chest slider felt like it only went up half way (I didn't want more anyways, but it was weird).

Also a thing that was pissing me off was that I couldn't change the graphics options that needed applying. Click apply and it would just go into an eternal loading screen. And ending the process doesn't allow the settings to change. But I somehow managed to change it a little bit, but then I decided I wanted to have the shadows off and I couldn't do that.

Can't comment too much on character creation, but my personal goal whenever I start a new game is to make my first character as close to Taylor Swift as I can, disregarding racial features and whatnot.

I believe I succeeded close enough with my TESO Beta character I made.

I still won't be getting the actual game. Subscription based has to pretty much be better than WoW, and this game is not.

I have someone in mind too when creating female chars. Usually I don't get that close, but close enough.

Definitely going to be playing this game when it comes out, just pre-ordered. Game is awesome. Leveling takes a while, but no big deal.
