yup, but you have different options to use as an engineer, so using a gun and explosion makes killing and defending easier

heavy metal + whatever main weapon + at4 + explosive upg. + more rockets = fuckton of points.

Thats a noobish way to play. It´s the same as noobtubing. Unless you actually take out armor with those, then its fine.

Why would i choose the at4 to shoot infantry? It got the lowest splash damage and is therefore rather useless unless you hit directly even with explosion upgrade.
Besides of that it would only mean 50 points per hit, as to about ~250 points per hit/kill on a helicopter/tank/car

TBH out of most of the FPS games i've ever played, BFBC2 sniping for me has felt the most annoying.

Not the fact that there is some realism with Travel distance and Bullet drop, no i love that. It's just that.. i dono it feels so unforgiving. There are no 1 shot kills (unless you HS) and the cost of missing a shot (Reload Time, Reset Time, Loosing Target, Getting Spotted) far out balances the reward for a kill.

I was reading the thread over, been a while, and I noticed this.

I checked my head shot % stats out:

71.91% with M24 @ 42.13% accuracy
64.66% with GOL @ 41.41% accuracy
60.16% with M40 @ 59.90% accuracy
54.89% with M95 @ 52.10% accuracy

@287.81 score per minute

For the 5 headshots in a game badge, I got it in 73.39% of my games including my quit outs. I aways snipe within medium to short, usually short, range. If you average it out, 62.91% of my kills are 1 shot kills. I think your logic is flawed sir.

Finally starting to enjoy this game. Joined an awesome server, no lag everything super smooth. I still suck but got a couple kills this time.

For some reason I get more kills with the Engineer than the Assault.

haha, wow, my score is soo negative in the objective game modes but when i go into squad death match my score is positive. I really suck in big maps (same with waw and black ops).

K/D is depressing in this game. You could sit back with a sniper rifle and whore your K/D but you will never have be successful and rank slowly. It helps maintain my moral by looking at score per minute rather than K/D. You should do the same. Although not faultless, it is a better metric for seeing how much you contribute to victories.

About that, I got someone dogtags once. What does it mean?

You get the dogtags of people you kill with your knife. Guess it shows how much you knife? or how stealthy you are... I dunno.
