Tonight Bloody Rage on ISA, Europe downed Nogrom, first boss in Gorluxors Tower for the first time. The majority was level 40-41's with 50% epics and rest blue.

The first try we got him down to 20% before we wiped. Second try 11% We wiped a couple of more times but it was something everyone expected. But we got him after a couple of trys.

As you see, we was 2 man short which could have made it so alot easier if they decided to show up as planned. We were 21 man before, but lucky us one guy logged in.

Level 47 patch arrived to the EU servers for close two weeks ago and for NA 4 weeks ago. This patch made the game for the better and Astrum Nival is really stepping up. Dinged 45 yesterday, rather slow but didn't play anything on one week. So now I got access to all the endgame content.

(Astral Confrotation, We met the strongest guild on League side but they weren't able to get past the first check point)

Last two pictures is from Second Layer of Astral, this means that they did not increase the level needed for First Astral Layer which means that level 40's still can do astral for some extra exp. Now when you are level 45 you cant go to the normal heroics since they're still for level 40's so you have to find the HCs in Second Layer. Tho, you get 20 keys that instantly teleport you to a sector and lands you on a island/heroic. Both gives you items, so it's a winwin either way.

Gorluxor Tower no longer drops legendarys, but instead drops Dragonic Relics which is basically a second gear, it kinda reminds you about "berserker" in SRO, you can use it when you get enough of those dots, but on Allods it's a cooldown instead. When using the dragonic relic you get OP for 30 seconds and there is a cooldown on 30 minutes, but it is possible to decrease by collecting more dragonic items.

There is also an event ongoing, I dont know if NA still got it, but there is 2 more weeks left on EU, if you're lucky you get a wolf mount(picture 1 in spoiler). You may also get the Anniverssary suit which I use on the same picture. They however give no stats and are just pure vanity.

The most important thing is that you no longer need incense to get the damage boost, however you will need it to go into Second Layer of astral, but there is a daily quest for one 24 hours incense that takes around 10 minutes to finish. PoP's which are the items that protect you from cursed items is now also forever free in the Cash Shop. So I suggest that all people who played Allods before Gipat try it again. It's worth it & really fun.

Hows allods nowadays? Last time I rember we needed somekind of incense thingies, but got 'em daily.

Incense is no longer needed until you reach level 45 and wanna go out in the Second Layer of Astral, but they are still free by doing the daily quest. The game is stepping up and alot of new players incoming, Nezebgrad feels alive again.

How about classes, has there been any big change?

Well, yeah. Melee Healers are still the strongest with Paladins close behind, how ever hopefully next major patch we will get the revamp of Healers and Paladins. Healers will no longer be able to do huge damage and huge healers, so they have to choose between one of those. Paladins can be hybrids(Still good tanks + good dps) Which makes them close to godmode, but that patch wont let them specc like that either.

Other than this upcoming changes there haven't been that much except for some dmg nerfs/dmg boosts(mainly wardens). Psi's got a major revamp @ Gipat patch but since I do not know much about them I cant say what they really changed. But the classes are fairly balanced and I have no problem downing a healer 1v1 as long I keep him stunned and silenced.

Go ahead, how ever the grinding that they introduced at Gipat is still there, but I didn't have to grind anything from 42-45, I was just doing quests + dailys. How ever 27-40 will be some grind for new players. But Gipat exp rewards for quests got boosted from 1000 to 16000 so the grind dissapears as soon you hit those levels. But one thing I can assure you, the grind isnt even close to as bad as SRO. Russian servers also got fatigue removed, instead they boosted our exp rewards x2. So fatigue wont stop us from continue playing after it's capped as it did in old days.

Downloaded to try it out again, but are servers down atm? since I cant seem to log in. Game keeps telling me that login failed, contact gp.eu.allods blah blah..., make sure that your client is EU version for EU accounts, Im pretty sure it's EU since i downloaded it from EU site.

Yes the servers is down, they should give us a patch today that updated some localisations and fixed a exploit with runes(Not really an exploit, but you could trade runes you equipped to other characters) But something went wrong and alot of files in the database got corrupted so they are doing everything they can to fix it. The current ETA is 21.00 GMT. As we loose a day for gearing/leveling up they will give us a extra day on the event(will prolly end up being a week) and 5 exp scrolls.

do people still play this game? what's the activity like on servers?

Seems like I'm the only one on SRF that plays it atm, back in early OB it was me, bloodyblade, thee_unique, theknight and plenty of others. I cant talk about the activity on the North American servers, but they are far more populated than EU, but ISA is stepping up, Old Square(the first place you get to after the tutorial and the sewer for the Imperial side) are stuffed with people.

So I would guess the low level areas on league are even higher populated since it has always been the more popular side. Guess they are adviced to go League since still after soon 2 years of the game being in Open Beta, Empire is still the strongest side.

I used to play it in the early days but then I stopped as there was not a lot to do. Lately, though, I've been hearing good things about the game so I'm thinking of downloading it again. What server do most people play on, EU or NA?

He is wearing the Knight suit with the Anniverssary headgear. There is 28 other class costumes out there, which I currently save up multiple pairs for, wait a couple of months and then they're back to their original value. The Punisher costume was worth around 1500-2000 gold before the patch. It was pretty damn rare and only existed around 3 on ISA.

Also, last astral hc run, first time in this heroic but also the best experience I've had. Really interesting boss mechanics, we left with around 20 chests full of loot, tho everything was cloth armor =(

Wut fiery wings? Those are not possible to get through the chests, those are pure cash shop wings. Anniversary Wings are the only thing you can get from the event.

Nope there isnt, unless you got enough gold to buy one from AH or something.

Ok I created a new character, Arisen Summoner, level 6 at the moment.

Not playing very much since I still have school and other games to play, but I'm convincing some of my friends to play with me which will make it alot more fun.
