They nerfed sorc (cast speed 60% max)
Nothing bout pvp content, you can read patchnotes in official site. The funny thing is we still don't have 2.1 (craft patch) which was realeased weeks ago in korea. Would be awesome if NCsoft expanded stigma slots..

3.0 better be a huge PvP update or this game will just.. fail. Ground abyss was a failure to the west as far as I can tell. Why? People cry about the ap loss. Then it becomes a dead zone. Camping Kysis brings more fun, because I don't have to search through so many annoying mobs.

Bought my 4th 50e piece and got it to +3 with lv 58 stones.. uhh wut. I used supps for 2 and 3 though. Then used couple 73s for +5. Along with getting MB 27 slotted with 10 stones. Used supps for the 6th mana slot though. **** yeah.

It's +10 now. I didn't want to use the 73s on my chest so it's sitting at +7, buuuuuut +10 pants, gloves, and shoes. I don't have shoulders. Will have it in a week or two. Whenever I don't feel lazy.

Yep, Infinite Aion is pretty good Private Server, it has bit higher rates than normal game but nothing like 300x or instant 55, everything works oretty well excluding some quests, but dungeons work well as far what i know. Depending where u download the client it might take pretty long, from Aion site (NCsoft launcher) it might take dozen hours, some torrents can be faster...

If I decide to give the game a shot it will be there but I just saw some gameplay again and it seems a bit slow for my taste, I'll probably dl it slowly over the week and spend a couple of hours seeing what is really like.

If well geared , just alittle list of who is strongest or most viable , Templar , gladiator , sorc , ranger
After that abit hard to play chars but highly raping if u know what are u doing , cleric , chanter and lastly
An assassin not only u have to adapt to the new burst system to play one , but also have a very good gear to win somebody , previously sins could just stun lock anything and with it's insane dps rape things apart... Now it's a timing and a well fit skills to burst as fast as possible .

Probably the most nerfed are right now chanter and sins , eventho some of them humiliate anything moving

Oh I forgot to say SM the spirit master , best solo class in pve probably , high dps with dots , and the most amazing thing fear which cannot be broken so when u land one you won , very viable in dredgios cause usually it's fear opposite team and watch them die without even being able to answer back

Yeah I made a SM and got him to like 25 but not really playing, I just don't seem to play any game with grind these days, the early tour was enjoyable but now I have seen it.

i've been in israphel since it merged with marchutan server and there is still some pvp in inggi and gelk even in my oceania timezone when i try to do my dailies & weeklies, but the abyss is dead where i can afk inside an upper fort teleporter hours and come back and im still alive but i do see the occasionally shard war reported in LFG, i dont know how it is at peak NA times, ever since i left one of the top legions in 2.0 i havent been active in sieges or even c.dredge. i noticed it does gets zergy in balaurea when the new daily pops out at about 11pm my time so i can imagine at peak times it gets worse, but what else do you expect in open pvp

aion is going f2p in the spring of 2012 along with the release of 3.0 (its nothing like the EU free to play model though)

What will be the main differences between the EU and the NA version? I play on the EU servers and I'm just curious.

I'm going to guess this. Europe forces you to pay to play or waste x3 time to obtain/do things.

Knowing NCSoft it'll be selling 100% socket stones, dyes, more skins, increase exp amulets, potions(If anyone played I'm guessing that 100%), instance cooldowns, and various other things of a cash shop. Though they haven't said, but I guess you can compare it to the L2 shop. I don't know what it is.

they farked up EU as far as i know such as if your a f2p user you get longer CD's and restrictions from other shit and if you were a vet the cd's are slightly reduced but still not normal but than if you pay for some gold membership all restrictions are removed.

from what I have heard its a hacker fest and the new company that is in control of EU aion has done nothing to address the issues.

NA Aion however will have no significant changes and for the most part remain the same except Vets will get compensation... if anyone starts fresh on NA i can help you guys out ;P

They are providing pretty much everything they are providing now when they launch f2p in NA ( no restrictions like in EU, they say ). What I believe they are doing however is beefing up the cash shop, which they may not do as aggressively immediately but it ending in a scenario where you can buy an advantage wouldn't be surprising ( dont want to call it pay to win ).

This seems like a nice f2p switch and I gave it a shot during the recent promotion, wouldn't mind playing it til GW2 comes out in all honesty. Game is very easy on the eye and felt fresh enough in it's own way with all the exploring I experienced.

The way that they've been handling a cashshop before I quit and I can assure you that they'll beef up that shop. It'll be 'acceptable' since it's f2p. Look at Korea's cashshop for Aion.

I would assume 1 = 1 won since their fee for 30 days is 19800won = $17.75 USD which is standard in korea. Since this is the west prices of everything will be like 5 times as much.

Like currently they have a valetines box for 2k won($1.8 ) or 40 for 30k won($26.8 )
