Goldeneye 007 - Wii

Post by Goseki »

My god, so nostalgic and fun. I wish I had gotten the golden controller edition cuz it is dam hard to play with the wii remote, but I guess it adds to the challenge.

I still consider this a lame attempt to make more money. Goldeneye N64 will always be the best.

Ah I wish I had my N64 still :soosad:

I picked it up, been playing through slowly using the GCN controller. They've managed to breath new life into it; single player has been fun, well presented, and clean. My biggest gripe was the switching to Daniel Craig as Bond, but if anything I think that's improved the game experience, but he wouldn't work for the movie. =P

Will have to test out the online multiplayer soonish. Have played local; slappers was fun to do again. But the levels aren't the same now; they're set up in a kinda of CoD:MW2 way, where they're fairly compact, designed for quick engagement and quick fun, especially with them all being designed for 8 people.

The element of the 3 handle controller, split screen, and the ability to cheat to see where he placed mines.. Just not possible to recreate that.

Anyhow Donkey Kong rehash I want :sohappy:

I played it today and i have to say no...its very different from Goldeneye
apart from the core story elements and the name it has very little to do
with the N64 game.

I feel like it's a refreshed bond game.

I'm starting to get use to the wii controls. Kinda interesting actually. Although switching to classic or gamecube controller allows me to pwn sooooo much faster.... but I dunno. I just feel that the remote nunchuck thing is part of the exp. I'm prob gonna play through the game with the wii controller and switch to do the harder modes. Does anyone know if there are any unlockable things? I've only been playing a lvl or 2 a day.
