I hated the glitch on Jacob's loyalty mission where when you try to get cover from those lumps of land instead you go over them and can't get down, on some reloads I don't even try to go into cover just passing by them gets me "stuck".

Spoiler!

Now replaying ME1 with renegade soldier, I wish I had backed up my old save games. :(

When I was reading the first page I was like... MEH.

The second page people went deeper in to the game.. then I was like hmm let see.

Third page and fourth page, SPOILERS ONLY!
Bought it on steam right away, downloading.

I'm looking for a good single player RPG game so hope this is what I'm looking for.
After finishing Fallout 3 again I need it :)

I also heard a lot of good things about ME2, hope it lives up to my expectations.
Didn't play ME1 though, which is not my thing to jump in a story like this.

If I were you I'd personally play the first one before the second...

There are a ton of references from the first game that might just leave you a 'lil confused.
It's kinda made so that you make your decisions in the first game and then you're able to see how they affect your game in me2 and even 3.
Not saying you HAVE to, but it would be a far better experience if you do it this way tbh.

I've pretty much explored 100% of the game map now, just have to finish up the main quest. Don't want it to end!

New Cerberus Assault Armor and M-22a Eviscerator Shotgun DLC are NOW AVAILABLE for free through the Cerberus network. It should be available for all fans, both on PC and Xbox 360. Check your download screens now.

Cerberus Assault Armor
Cerberus Assault Armor is designed for shock troops, turn the tide of battle against creatures or forces that would decimate normal soldiers.
Increases heavy weapon ammo capacity by +10%
Increases shields by +10%
Increases health by +10%

M-22a Eviscerator Shotgun
The M-22a Eviscerator Shotgun is a longer-range shotgun with armor-piercing loads. This design also violates several intergalactic weapons treaties, so the M-22a is not distributed to militaries.

You can learn more about the Cerberus Assault Armor in a Arsenal update with screenshots of the armor in action here.

There's also some Dr. Pepper promotion going on, you get a code if you purchase a bottle of Dr. Pepper (or search on the internet for people who posted codes) and it can be exchanged for ME2 stuff. I got the Sentry Interface (Shield strength +5%), but there's also the Umbra Visor (Power damage +5%) and the Recon Hood (Weapon damage +5%). The Sentry Interface is the only okay looking one, the other ones aren't exactly improving his already awesome visage.

This Dr. Pepper promo?

There's a way to get them all with 1 code. And that 1 code can be used by anyone.

Yeah that one. I only got the Sentry thing, but I wouldn't want the other stuff any way lol.

Question here, I finished ME1 and started ME2 only yesterday, so I'm completely used to ME1. What's with the armour/weapons? Does it matter at all which one is better? If I go to the Armoury, I can only read some manufacturer's description, I can't find any stats, so right now I simply pick my weapons based on looks. >>
I miss just comparing them like you could in ME1.

I felt like ME1 was so much simpler in everything. I wish they kept that skill thing the same too, as well as the minimap. And that they ditched the stupid probe and scanning planets feature. I stabbed a planet with probes for ages before I could actually find a landing spot wtf. And get lost with that fuel system, I keep on running out of it and then some space tow truck drags my cute butt back to the last checkpoint.
And I miss the Mako. :(

Armors usually have a % bonus to shields, damage, whatever. Mostly they're for looks, but if you're obsessed about min/maxing you can get parts that give combined % increases to make it effective.

Also when there's an anomaly on the planet, you gotta follow where the white line points on the little radar thing to find the source. The amount of probes and fuel you have can eventually be upgraded along with the speed of the scanner's movements.

The mini-map that shows enemies and stuff can be seen either with the M key which will point you in the way of your objective, or the pause button (shift by default) which is exactly identical to ME1's.

Different weapons have their strengths/weaknesses. The first sniper rifle for instance has very little ammo but very high damage compared to the semi auto one with more ammo. The unlockable one also performs similarly but is more powerful. Some are also more effective against different defenses and enemy types.

And some more screenage.

I usually don't bother with armor, except for the helmet that gives +10% persuasion.

However, I do enjoy the armor color customization. Something about saving humanity in armor that was pink with purple decals made the game that much more enjoyable.

I got the 360 version. I just liked that little minimap that was always on the screen, aswell as the marker ability. I'm not too good when it comes to map-reading, so it was handy to just waddle into the direction the marker pointed me. >>

I'll look into the armours later. Don't think I'll ever like the scanning planets thing, I'd pick the Mako trips over the new system any time.
