Most Loved & Hated Gaming Character

So instils you with a deep heated sense of anger every time you see them?

Who makes you cheer for that moment when they beat a boss or rescue someone?

Just who are your most love and most hated gaming character?

Hated
For me its quite simple who i hate, who makes me want to punch my fist through the
screen in a vain attempt to kill them...who you ask? well that would be that main
hero/villain of Prototype Alex Mercer.

Now while i like the game (even though its almost an exact copy of Spiderman: web
of shadows). I just cant get passed how much of a douche Alex really is. Not only
does he start off running around and killing both innocent civilians and military
person who are trying to contain a virus he goes and unleashes said devastating
virus on New York city which kills millions as people are transformed into monsters.

All this, all those people he kills and all the devastation he causes just to finally
uncover that it was in fact himself who originally released the virus on the city.
Causing the deaths of millions...and how does Alex Mercer react to this?? By blaming
and killing everyone around him, his former girl friend, his sister and even his
own mother (albeit she is a monster). All this justified because of what happened
over 40 years ago in some small town to his mother (a mother who he was happy to kill)
and its population.
The guys an asshole, hes a douche who just cant put up his hands and admit he farked
up and caused all of this crap...instead he just casually says that because he has
all these new powers (which make him less human) its absolutely fine what he did.

This was a hard one, i wanted to say Mario...or maybe even Link (but seeing how
its a different person each game i dont think i can). Instead its someone who
you all thought was a guy, until see got her kit off. Yep thats right am talkng
about Samus AKA The Hunter. scourge of The Space Pirates and bad guys alike Samus
has been saving the galaxy since the NES in some of the most well produced and
entrancingly epic games ever made. From the awesome 2D action of Super Metroid
to the amazing Metroid Prime 3: Corruption this girl can kick some serious ass.
And that's what makes her stand out from almost every other female game character.
She's not big busted, she's not scantily dressed and she's not eye candy, She's
all action gun toting, morphball rolling kick ass hunter who puts her life on the
line when others cant.
That's why I love her as a character, she is all about the mission. Nothing else
matters and she wont stop until its over.

mm, I don't really recall hating any video game character, I'll have to get back on that one.

I love Max Payne. God, Max Payne 2 is such an awesome game with a great story line. I still haven't watched the movie, I think it will ruin it for me.

1. Rayman: straight-up he saved millions of inhabitants of his world multiple times. his powers kick ass, all of the games are awesomely themed.
2. Arkantos (from Age of Mythology): he always left the impression on me that he was a really awesome guy, both very powerful and intelligent.

Hated:
Cream and Amy from Sonic games:
both of them make me wanna kill myself D:

Amy has the most annoying and bitchy personality ever.
Cream is a crybaby and the character with the worst voice ever.
that high-pitched tone just hurts my ears >__<

I liked Mona and Vladimir, too.

From other games, Altair (AC), Albert Wesker(RE) and Dante, who had a brilliant attitude in DMC4.
I hate Excella (RE5), Selphie (FFVIII) and Rosh Penin (JKA).

Thus the reason why I'm playing some of the old games again.

Hates:
Can't think of any but I went "YOU BASTARD!" when this guy did you-know-what during the sniping part of Metal Gear Solid 2.
