Starcraft/Broodwar VS. Warcraft
Starcraft/Broodwar VS. Warcraft
I've ben playing Starcraf/Broodwar for a long time now and I have to say it is one of the best RTS games out there. But I just recently played the Demo for Warcraft III: Reign of Chaos and I am planning on getting it.
Who do you think would win if the games were connected? ( Warcraft Races vs Starcraft Races)
I personally think that SC/BW vS WC would be an awesome somewhat balanced battle.

I vote WCIII dudes would win, cuz 1 wc3 dude has like 500hp and 25 attack and starcraft dudes have like 60hp and 10 attack...so technicaly wc3 would easily win.

Starcraft - high damage, low health.
Warcraft - low damage, high health.

Depends on the player. Btw, get Warcraft 3: Battlechest. It's about $40. It comes with Reign of Chaos and Frozen Throne. Frozen Throne will let u play Defense of the Ancients aka DotA. DotA is a mod and that's the reason I bought the Warcraft 3: Battlechest.

HIGH TEMPLAR BIDGES

Re: Starcraft/Broodwar VS. Warcraft
WCIII would curbstomp starcraft cause of their auto-heal, auto-cast, auto-upgrade, auto-resource gathering, auto-everything. There is a distinction of armor types in WCIII that is not there in starcraft, and they have these annoying things called heroes. Heroes were created to kill the build time that starcraft players play through, even the rusheres, therefore the hero can just come out of WCIII and kill every probe.
However, assuming that the WCIII player is mild . . . extremely retarded and actually allows the match to exceed 20 minutes because he's screwing around, SC have much higher population counts and would be able to come back and whoop everything. Also, SC higher tier units have cloak, something WCIII lack effective counters for. Unforunately, WC damages, armor, and hp when fully upgraded is scary one demon hunter with splash at level 6+ will be able to wipe out hundreds of units easy, but, again, assuming the WCIII player is a complete fool, then there's a small chance the numbers will overcome the odds. At least that's what I like to think until I realized so much of WCIII is automated that there's not chance of the AI allowing you to lose to SC units.
I sitll voted SC though cause they gots the DTs and SC is sexier.
