Its a good game, allows me to play something that won't kill my keybroad like Gunz. I do hate the lock on/locked systems seeing as I am a sniper myself in fps games, And as De Realist has already said, I am a lvl48 on Gunz myself and I can say thei game isn't like Gunz, as long as you know how to move and get that lock on your pretty much set. My ign is Gnoix, De Realist if your playing the NaGunz pm me sometimes my igm is JohnDoe I think, I need to check. I took a break from it.

Yup I am still having a blast on exteel. They just added 2 new mechs and are going to do another 50% more credit week soon.After that they said that they will be releasing some new weapons (smgs,rifles & spear so far I heard).

My ign is Killage level 56 atm, pm me whenever I am on and I'll help you guys out

I don't really play Gunz or Exteel in anymore. Gunz because of laggers and Exteel because of overpowered SMGs.

No more op weapons in exteel, they patched that all up. All the weapons now are fairly balanced just a small nerf on the Dazzler-A reticle would be good. I would give it another try if I were you

I got bored of exteel...the shooting and graphics only goes so far...I hate the fact that as you lvl you don't get better equips...etc...you lvl and you stay with the same gear, until you can afford one of those 30k-60k unitem mall piece of gears. And who the heck puts character stats onto a shooter game, >< I'd say its a fun game to kill time, not something you would invest time into. Half the items suck, the good items are item mall, and the lock on sucks. And that fact that I can't defend myself if I'm be shoot at from like 2 or more people. In gunz atleast I knew I would take out 3 or more people before I die in a gangbang.

lol looks like your assuming the shooters are only useing smgs or pistols or something, a good party has a mix everything, when your being ganged by them your not gonna escape lock on, I'm a rifle user of crouse i use my teammates as meatshield. with this said, yes if you fighting idiots who are just spamming and overloading thier smgs its not hard to kill them all, but a cordinated team of various weapons can easily kill anyone, rifles and dashing isn't gonna help.

Err..Don't really feel like reading through 7 pages of text so..

Anyone here managed to make Exteel work with Windows Vista Basic 32bit (Service Pack 2)?

It didn't work with SP1 - even with anti-virus, anti-spyware, firewall, user account control all turned off and ran as Admin in the Admin account and no other program running. It says there's some sort of an error with nProtect Gameguard and another application. wtf.

Yay for necro.

I had no problems with it on Vista 32bit SP2.

Well, I had a few problems. Avast was screwing it up.

AVG was screwing it up for one of my friends(Disabling AVG didn't work. He uninstalled AVG and it worked fine afterwards.) and ATI tray tools was screwing it up for another.

I don't use AVG but I heard after disabling AVG, avgrsx.exe continues to run. You can try Crtl+Alt+Delete and close avgrsx.exe. Not sure if that will work.

I've tried that method before but didn't work. Anyway, I uninstalled AVG 8.5 FREE, disabled Spyware Doctor, disabled COMODO Firewall and closed it, then shut down UAC. It still won't work...

Fuck GameGuard. Invasive piece of shit is good for nothing.

I'll go look for a private version of it I guess..I'd download S4 League but it's not compatible with vista SP2 yet.

edit: They seriously need to fix these fucking security softwares.

Gameguard won't even allow me to start Exteel. XTrap gives me BSOD sometimes (Not to mention Cabal's "Automated Botsweep Program" almost got me banned permanently with no evidence for some false positive bullshit). Punkbuster disconnects me from Call of Duty 4 on some servers.

Fucking ridiculous!

Yea, Gameguard does suck. I couldn't play Combat Arms because of something was installed in my BIOS or something.

HackShield also keeps me from playing Requiem.

It does work in europe... at least it worked half a year ago when I last installed it for some lulz. By the way the patcher is really crappy, so I guess watch some por... err, do something productive till it finishes.
