@ All the replies regarding my comment;
What rek said is indeed what I meant. But it corresponds to the fact that you need to pay to play this game. Meaning if you have never payed for at least a month of game time - you haven't played it - and IMO, you shouldn't judge it . It does imply, however, that if you haven't payed, you could have played on private servers . That is just too rediculous to start an argument against WoW with and that's all I'm going to say about that.
People who don't want to pay, people who are unconsiously afraid of getting hooked, those are the ones that always say "WoW sucks".
It's an easy thing in general, but hard to explain. You'd simply have to play it otherwise you can't judge it, IMO.
And lets not even begin about graphics. That is too easy of an argument to put out of the picture. Just look at Age of Conan. Nuff said? The game was a COMPLETE failure. The graphics are best ever in an MMO. (They are immense, I've played it). I'm running a super computer so I'm not simply just saying it because I've seen screenshots or anything like that. The game fails in a million ways. PvP sucks and there are (were) a thousand bugs. PvE wasn't even properly implemented end-game.
Castle building/City building had a thousand bugs and were half-done jobs. Crafting isn't even worth more words then these. There's more.
On a side-note, I think war-hammer is going to be a great success. I can just tell, even though I have done little to NONE research about the game. Why? People talk alot about it, which means the company needs to meet high expectations. They have learned from the AoC failure, and before that, the hellgate-london failure. They will use it in their advantage.

Actually i've played wow, thats why i said that, not trying to offend anyone just said i didn't like it, maybe because i didn't played enough lol, didn't know what to do just like any other new game u play, maybe ill try it again but a private server since i won't pay for ANY game
Then just say that, instead of making yourself look like hater without knowledge number #5869980

WoW is what you make of it. It can be great fun, or it can be terribly boring.

Kid has nailed it. I used to have tons of friends who played, got in a great guild and had friendly leveling competitions. Ended up hitting level cap insanely fast, and barely every running PUGS because I had a great guild and there were always people to talk to.
The game was AMAZINGLY fun at this point. I quit for awhile went back to eq1/eq2. Tried to come back, with no friends and start over again and find another guild. The game was terribly boring and I ended up hitting level cap but was so bored with the whole entire game I sold the account and continued to play eq2.
I don't think the game sucks, I think it is rather fun. If you have the friends who play it, and can get on and have a good time grouping with friends and running instances or even BG's/arena then you should have fun. If you let the game get to serious and get stuck in a guild that is hardcore and has a reputation to uphold. If you get stuck running pre-mades and arena with people and all they can do is call people noobs and take the game way too seriously...Chances are you will quit this game.
ShizKnight said it best, the game is what you make it. I had some of my better MMO moments on this game and some of my worst. I have a huge background of MMO experience, and have played some of the best. The game has a great concept, has a pretty friendly community if you can find it and does a great job at keeping players interested. Just don't turn your WoW life into the pursuit of getting to the max level as fast as you can. Enjoy the game for what it is..

Re: World of Warcraft.
wow really isnt about lvling. once your 70 your will see there is alot of sucky 70s, just being the highest lvl means nothing. to be good yoou have to raid or pvp to get good gear. that imo is what makes it better then alot of other games where once you get the highest lvl whats left? make another char in alot of them.

A retarded monkey can be at least average at wow. It's not a hard game, but the number of terribles would surprise you.
I'm in your posts, stealing your quotes.
