but animal mixing gamees were never my thing...only spore looks kinda interresting since it actually has a sh!tload of options.

It's an old game that game out 6 years ago. It's an RTS where you would choose the units you could build by mixing animals. Each unit would have it's own stats and "tier". The "tier" determined how far into the game you could build it, and was based on how powerful the monster was obviously.

I don't know, but this game actually started production at the same time as WC3, and came out only 3 months later.
