I can't stand slow FPSs, they have to be fast paced and lots of projectile weapons... I miss UT RIP #1 Assault clan in the world.

between halo3 and cod4 i would have to say cod4. no question. halo3 was just a stale shooter. the single player became very boring and the engine, weapons, and community really don't sell the multiplayer half to me.

cod4 had surprisingly tight controls for a console FPS, the weapons are great, the story was very cinematic, etc. my only gripe is the whole reward system(getting helicopters, etc) because it only makes it harder for the noobs. i think it's pretty flawed to give the best players more tools(especially when getting a kill with them, especially on small maps, requires almost no skill).

CoD4 Single Player good, no stupid A.I.
Halo 3 single player CRAP, my A.I. marines preferred shoot clouds then killing actual enemy

CoD4 Multiplayer good, didn't like the cheap "power-ups" like the helicopter and w/e.
Halo 3 is good, but i don't like going into a game and hearing all of those 12 yrs olds yell and scream because they killed someone using a grenade >_>.

no, when I played halo multiplayer, it took me an entire magazine and a half of the assault rifle just to kill another player (who happened to be afk). its ridiculous you cant kill anyone for shit unless you go on a fcking banshee or are pro with a shotgun

and for cod4 multiplayer, im not going to even talk because we`re going to end up in a console vs. PC flame war
