I just joined up with a RP guild, though I don't do so myself, so our decision was pretty easy. Cimmeria, or bust.

So, has everyone decided on a main? I'm sticking with my good impressions of the ToS, AoE nukes and healing.

I'm sticking to ranger. Always been caster/melee in most games.

I've reconsidered it, done some more research but i'm definetly sticking to ranger now

I'm going necromancer. I hope ice shields and life leeching will give me enough survivability, if not I'll roll a ranger.
I was thinking about going reanimation, any thoughts?
And did anyone play a necro in beta?

I might go for a Priest of Mitra tomorrow, tried it out till lvl8 and loved it
Hopefully it stays as fun, and the buffs are great

Have to, I don't live in a city so I have a less than average connection. The lag would just be unbearable, plus it'd restrict me from playing with local players and what I'd assume is the majority of the players.

Yeah I'm gonna roll Fury as well. I'ts gonna be crazy overpopulated though. Everyone who's not Russian and got the early access will tell their friends to come Fury.
I guess I'll be pretty active but the last testweek is coming pretty soon so I gotta put some effort in that as well. (Not too much though, this year was ezmode I can finish with only 2/3 and still pass but I won't do that though)

So far so great. How's it across the pond?
My ToS is Soul on Cimmeria. Damn the Stygians looks magnificent! My only gripe is the limited inventory slots, but w/e.

Loving it

Been playing with Mog and my 2 friends.

All of have had some problems lol.

My internet disconnected because their working on the line (last day today) so i had to call the helpdesk and they told me to quickly reset modem and it worked! yay.
My friend had to reformat his comp before launch because he had a really bad virus (Virtumode it's called)
My other friend had to reinstall conan bcos of corrupted files, lol.

And now we're - luckily - all playing

Loving it so far.

Except for one big huge thing - rangers do at LEAST 3 times more damage using their melee skills with 1h weap/shield... lol.

For every1 else, just look at this screenshot if you want to know what the graphics are like...

(Q6600, 3 gigs of ram, vista, 8800 GT)


edit: having major connection problems :/ it's throwing me out every 20-30 minutes, everything is conntected ( dns, adsl, line) but i can't do a thing. Resetting modem doesn't work and it seems to randomly connect again... my provider website doesn't say anything.
edit: found something, they are working on the connection untill monday.. and funny thing is, they do it at night hahaha.

You need to go to your aoc acct page, click on upgraded forum acct, and pick a new name or stick with your old one (don't know if that works).

my net is Farking up bigtime omg i just spent SIXTY NINE minutes on the phone with a person from the call center argh my mum's gonna love that bill.

NEVER had problems before untill this weekend with my net, because they were doing some kind of maintenance nationally.

works now but so instable -_-

according to the person from their helpdesk it should work now but i know for a fact it will DC again lol.

oh well lets hope for the best.
