Guys. Like I said, we are investigating this matter. We already heard what you guys said about evidences for and reasoning against "Barotix"'s ban. Please be patient while we look into this.

In the mean time, no more discussion about this unless you come up with solid proof for or against this case.

Is being on a recent banlist enough evidence to get someone banned from forum?

Yes, if the player was banned for "botting". As for malicious CCF and other 3rd party programs, we'll consider each case indivisually.

If you meant that it may be their name on forum but not really their account, i'm pretty sure there are enough evidence to prove the char belongs to this person before exposing him.

MUST be an active SRO account. There is now a moratorium of 90 days on all past evidence. If someone used to bot but quit the game, rerolled a legit account that they are currently playing and they are NOT playing the botted one, etc., they are no longer considered a threat to the integrity of the game and these forums and are granted a degree of leniency under those circumstances. CURRENT bot support by these users would still be subject to the appropriate penalties.

Nothing in the rules says that JoyMax ban lists are able to get a person banned here. That's why I asked, I wanted some clarification. People have been on the ban lists wrongfully in the past.

Last seen because ArmorCorp1 is a new character and I needed to transfer my Items from Barotix to Storage. Barotix is stripped atm.

Barotix doesnt play his char Barotix. he plays his other char called ArmorCorp1 he is in Asylum and he is LEGIT. he rarely even logs in >.>.

and i doubt Barotix botted on his char called "Barotix", and even if he did, he doesnt play it anymore.

he contributes more to these forums than 95% of the people here.
nuff said. why kill the forums even more, search past topics and just scroll through them, bet you'll find a handful of banned people in each one (discussion-worthy topics).
he's also one of the venus people that i bother reading the posts of, the rest i skim over cuz most of them are simply annoying and to be quite honest are all basically the same (lol avalon).

FYI I'm not specifically trying to make it harder on Barotix, reading back on it, I realize it might have done that. This topic in specific was meant to just do that, clarify if ban list is ban worthy. Since Barotix doesn't even play the character named that, he isn't in violation of any rules even if the ban list was a viable reference for banning from forums.

Baro, I'd like to apologize if I've given you any undue stress or anything. Since you say Barotix was on a different account, and everyone knows you play Armorcorp1 now, I don't see any reason why you would need to be banned anyways. Some people might still argue that you're suspect and should lose moderator. For moderator, I don't really care either way, I think it should be fine if you keep it, but it is up to the rest of the moderator staff and ultimately, SuicideGirl.

Theres no way....they are definately banning old accounts that don't get played anymore, it's the only thing I can think of.

I rarely play, the game has lost its value. When I log in, I usually don't leave town. I try to log in right before ctf begins because thats the only PvP action I can expect from Venus at 3x.

These bans are weird. Reminds me wong's ban...wdf
