I'm still learning here. Why was that thread locked? I didn't see any flaming or anything bad in it. I did wonder how all those posters know so much about this X33 thing though...

Next time you have a question on why a thread was locked remember to use the
button to pm a mod instead of making a new thread about it.
To answer the question, once someone is banned the thread is pretty much over and as nuclearsilo said there's nothing left to discuss so the thread gets locked.
