Silkroad has not one thing in common with the Nazi Reign, with handicaped people, with morals thos subjects are real life! SRO is a fantasy!

Addiction? Botters have an addiction? I am sure some may, BUT, what about the addiction and obsession of "Teh War On Bots" or who is legit and not legit? Is one addiction worse than the other? Sheesh RAL LIFE PEOPLE!

You fight over Botters, you waste a lot of energy here typing away and fighting and you accuse others of moral issues and addictions. WELL IF YOU ARE SO DAMN CONCERNED ABOUT MORALS AND ADDICTIONS... try spending your time writing your local reps and news reporters and governments and focus on some real life issues such as drug addiction hunger, homless, those that are really hurting and shit the hell up about boting once and for all!

Thus which JM rules should be followed and which shouldnt, for their own enjoyment.

If one enjoys their game all the more by breaking a JM tos what gives then the right to point a finger and accuse others of violation of anotehr TOS and proclaim that the other guy should be banned. One thing you got right this is SRF kingdom and SRF is in charge, but is that not how it all starts.

I think it's a fair question to ask seeing how you only joined two days coincidently around the same time the mass banning started. Don't get to snippy only hurts your point you're trying to make.

It's been said 100 times but I'll say it again. Your argument is thus: "If you're going to ban X because its against the rules, you need to ban Y and Z because they're against the rules too."

First, this is a logical fallacy. X =/= Y =/= Z. The acts may all be against the rules, but they are not equivalent. Until that time, the argument has no merit.

Additionally, even if it weren't a logical fallacy, it is generally agreed that X > Y and X > Z. In other words, banning bots from is a priority, while banning other violations of the TOS is a much lower priority. And yes, people have been warned and banned from this forum for making racist remarks.

Also, regardless of all that, SG is in charge. This ain't a democracy. If SG decides to ban everyone with a account ID starting with N, he could do it. (Funny thing is, there'd be less outcry).

These are just a few arguments. I know you know them I also know you like hearing yourself talk so if you want to keep going, by all means, do so. For the sake of honesty though, stop pretending like you don't know all this.

Yes power corrupts. But who holds the power? Is it you or me? SRF can ban us any time, I wouldn't lose any sleep over it. I just happen to agree with the bot banning. I already stated the possible result - people will come back, integrate, or not. The game probably won't change much, but I for one like the fact that people are standing up for legits.

That's just it, they are looking at Joymax TOS and enforcing what they can <shrug>. It doesn't bother me, I'm not breaking any rules.

Anyway. There are tons of places to find good info on SRO and this just happens to be my favorite place to find it because of the huge userbase. If it dies tomorrow, I'll go looking somewhere else. SRA (ooops, can I mention them?) hasn't run me off yet or mistreated me.

What you idiots don't understand is that this isn't Joymax's forum, or your forum, or my forum. Ryoko and the admins run it. They set the rules and if they want to ban you for botting then they have every right to do so.
