I was wondering the same thing. I'm sure it's not nearly enough proof of actual botting, but it is suspicious. I have no idea what kind of exp/hr rates bots get on different builds seeing as how I've never botted. So yeah, it's suspicious at least.

I know loader use only gets a temp ban here, but wantux doesn't seem too concerned about being banned, "I guess I will get ban now... well u can ban now." I get the feeling a temp ban won't make him stop using a loader, and he'll just continue using it when he's unbanned. Maybe.

duhh. That's why I'm proposing perm bans to loader -.- What part of banning someone for 7 days get's rid of the loader? Can't I just come back with the same evidence and say hello, he's still using it....

Didn't realize you were trying to get it changed to a perm ban for loader. I have to agree since the person can just come back a week later and continue using the loader.

Some people might not see loaders as being equally "bad" as botting, and therefore would say loader doesn't deserve as harsh a penalty. I just don't think a 7-day ban really does anything. It just means they have to wait a little longer to contribute to a thread, but they'll be back.

someone please explain the difference. By rules, you're still breaking the "No 3rd Party Programs rule" therefore, no differnce. You're corrupting Silkroad as much as guy who's running 30 clientless.

Don't get me wrong. I'm not saying that I see any difference. A third party program (that gives advantage) is a 3rd party program. Loaders give an advantage, and so do bots. Vent also gives an advantage (easier to chat verbally instead of via text), but I don't think SRF will start banning for vent use. At least vent can't be used to control the client.

I was just saying some might see it as loaders only give you an advantage of logging in, and it stops there, whereas bots give you 24x7 advantage. This is assuming the user doesn't use the other loader features aside from auto login. Not that we can prove that.

How is ofy pathetic and retarded for saying that? There's truth there. Temp ban isn't going to stop people from using loaders any more than perm bans will stop people from botting, but we're letting loader users come back after a short break. Only thing that should change about ofy's post is when the loader user comes back, we'll have to post new evidence. Does that mean we should only temp-ban botters? When they come back, the slate is clean and we have to find new evidence? No, I don't think so.

I was gonna try that button but it doesn't really have a loader/bot report thing on it.

And they could not have done that cause no mod did anything. I doubt any mod would want to keep loader users -.-

ummm..... i think the purpose of the EB section is to post proof that you have acquired of members of the forum boting. The bloke just posted a pic that shows he uses a loader.

Just save the picture and report it to the mods and send the picture if the poster removes it. All you've done is posted a link to the thread, quite lazy attempt imho.

We do perma-ban for loader use if they're all giddy about it. "Ah gee guyz, I used a loader; 7 day ban now? guess I get banned now, cya guys." Yah, fck that noize. "Cya in 30-Never" is more like it, but he's already banned so yeah.
