+1. can bots reform? SURE. i know people who have botted in the past and have given it up forever. will i ban those people? that would take a LOT from the accuser. if someone botted on a past account but is legit now and has been for a long time, that will be taken into consideration. there's somethign to be said for realizing the error of one's ways.

I was going to bring this issue up as well, Fly was banned by JM for botting, i say thats clear evidence, its a matter of how do you feel it should be handled. Will botters be forgiven if they renounce their actions and ask for forgiveness? Or is it truely a war on bots.

Just my opinion, but im with xem on this one...Just because hes Avalon now and tries to do a bunch of stuff anti bot, it doesnt change the past, and certainly shouldn't allow him and other Avalon members to prance around this forum like they are gods among men because they are always fighting bots. Its gotten to a point where its sick. I can't even read a decent thread in GD without something about Avalon and their sheer godlieness. Not the kind of forum I want, or would want a new, well intentioned player to experience.

How about this simple stance any one who is botting from this point foward in time, forget and forgive. But be firm in the rules. If they botted before and doens't now do you really have a problem with them?

So long as they don't do it now, or run gold bots on the side but that would be damn hard to prove, and i don't think fly would need gold bots there is some one i do suspect of doing this, but eh i can't prove it, i know they got multi client and have premium would be easy to log into a noob charector collect gold from his bots stick in storage and relog no evidence and tons of gold for him, With out any real proof other then some odd behaviour i can't prove anything so i'm not saying anything. My point is with out proof you can't go accusing people, and even if they used to bot and they arn't now or even on the same server they used to bot, then forget about it, botting is cheating plain and simple but its still just a game and whats done is done.

The only people that are TRULY offended by Avalon are the ones that we consider enemies which may be known has bots. Im saying again TRULY offended not pointing out to anyone here

Fly has been rebanned he posted a screen shot of it himself.
Ito was banned on old evidence.

Don't mistake the persistence in this thread for any of the others in this entire section.

If people who were banned for spawning scrolls onto low lvls truly showed up on that list then give me proof of others who were on that list for doing the same thing, not just word of mouth. Where is the proof that Fly wasn't the one who violated the user agreement? Fly got rebanned like other bots of Xian did after their globals of a "triumphant return" of a few moments. At this point SG is letting a personal relationship interfere with business it would seem. It's basically a guy who got banned in game and rebanned vs "oh I heard about Fly's situation it's not true" with no proof of it being a flase banning.

It's sad to see Luoma is getting the same treatment. I dunno how someone can say, "tbot is great for me it does <list bot features>" and SG can say he doesn't see proof of botting -.-

I never once saw either of them bot.

i saw no proof in the first set of screens. the rest of them prove otherwise. excuse me if we are not acting fast enogh for you, but as i clearly stated in this section's rules, a reasonable majority must be reached, and that has not yet happened. it will take time, but it seems clear what must be done.

unlike the botters who got unbanned for a week, my account was set to be unbanned within 2 weeks after an inspection of the account. it was never unbanned like the botters. the only reason it is still banned is because the bots braged in public and all got rebanned after taking off all there sosuns and gold. my account got rebanned because of the new joymax policy "no one will be unbanned unless for CCF issues". my account is banned with its gold, 1 sosun i owned, and avalon guild still on it.

it was like this:

december = ban
2 weeks after 80 cap opens = unban / minifly banned in my place (pred was the 1 that got me unbanned)
big ban day = rebanned
2 weeks later = set to be unbanned within next inspection (never happened)
3 days later = original ban re-added + told to give up by mr gargamel. pred said it was useless to fight on.

if you go and read old srf topics, you will find the timeline starting with the 1st ban and so on.
