This game isn't JUST pvp and fortress war and testing builds..
YOU DONT need to be 80.. And if you don't enjoy GRINDING, wich is the most important time of the game, then QUIT the game..

To me, the whole botting mentality is similar to saying "I don't have time to earn an honest living to support my family, so I'm just going to embezzle money into my off-shore bank account where no one can find it."

Botters are lazy. They use the "I have a life" excuse and think they deserve the perks of a high level account without working for it, just like people who embezzle money, or rob a bank, feel they deserve the perks of wealth without actually working for it.

But for ME the game is pvp. Its different, but that doesnt make it bad, is it? And dont get me wrong...i dont like some bots too, like bots those ks or goldbots. I just like the game more with a program that trains for me. And you dont, well ok thats ok, but dont get mad at me for playing this game differently than yours.

It's not an issue of getting mad at someone for playing a game differently than other people do. It's more an issue of getting mad at people for breaking the rules.

Yes some people only like this game for PVP, but PVP doesn't have to start at lvl 80. If it did, all new accounts would just start at level 80.

Maybe everyone should stop PVPing (and job warring, and guild warring) right outside town gates and find more secluded places with people similar to your level. Then PVP at lower levels can be more enjoyable.

If banned botters want to post here they can... Like I said earlier, whether somebody is a bot or not doesn't matter on a forum. As long as the discussion brought up is fruitful and informative to other members, then they serve the community.

Of course it matters if we let botters into these forums. If the SRF mods do not ban them, then they are accepting them. They are basically saying "It's ok if you bot and ruin the game." Banning them shows that their cheating is not welcome here. It doesn't matter if the person is extremely helpful to the community. A cheater is a cheater.

frankly i think its hillarious. the fact that some of us legits feel such an accomplishment banning somone from a forum. i can understand the principle in doing so. but does it actualy cause the amount of bots to go down? no it dosnt if anything all these screenshots might encourage some frustrated noob who cant get beyond lvl 40 to start botting, seeing all these screenshots of 80 bots. idunno i just think this whole war on bots is a joke. sure you ban them from the forum but they still exist in the game. to me this sounds like a see no evil hear no evil aproach. all your doing is banning a large part of the comunity who can still offer valuble information on charecter creation (as they have the majority of capped fully farmed 80's) they can probobly offer the best insight on how to create the best charecter builds. banning people from forums simply isnt the right course of action to reduce bots in the game. all it does is weaken the srf community and now all those high lvl bots are just laughing at the rediculousness of these forums. players so obbsessed with their lack of power in game that they go crazy banning bots in a non game enviorment. it just seems like a stupid an laughable ( and 100% ineffective) way to decrease the bot problem. flame me or ban me if you must. but this war on bots is making a mockery out of the srf community. i personaly dont condone botting but i realy dont mind it. I truly enjoy playing sro, despite its many many defects, one of which are bots. no game is perfect but it can always be improved. that said i think a different aproach should be taken against bots and the botting community. because this one is simply rediculous and a waste of time.

You don't need to be 80 to know how a build will perform in PvP. sometimes you don't even need to use the build :>
