im not convinced at all.

if this guy/chick really has like 4 capped chars on 4 servers someone out there would of seen him/her stuck on a tree or any other hard evidence. there is no way someone can play 4 servers and not get caught. the only logical explanation is that he/she does not bot.

this is not a witch hunt. if he/she does bot, someone has a screenshot out there. find it and post it!

Maybe someone from old Pacific has one. Certainly everyone who has been playing since the first week, bot or not, knows that Sylhana has gone beyond merely sharing accounts. I seem to remember having a screenshot that unfortunately was lost when I installed the euro client. It wasn't of Syl being stuck by anything physical in game, but rather a glitch similar to what used to happen to the gold bots--all lining up behind each other.Thing is, most people from Pacific who played back then don't play anymore. I'll try to ask others for something similar if they have it.

Even if there is no screenshot for botting, Br0therS guild didn't even accept legits. I don't remember a single legit in Br0therS---except, of course, Sylhana? And what about the 6x char in SuddenDeath? Looks like you had "credits" on it after all.
Furthermore, isn't encouraging botters to keep botting crime enough? Isn't the dealer / person who helps them get it as much at fault as the user? _SunTzu_ is probably one of the greatest SRO player still playing today, and he knows a lot about SRO, more than I daresay anyone I've ever met-- neither of us know shit about bots, softmod, or anything. The most I know is that one is bad at grinding and the other helps you log in.

If this is offensive, which I do not believe it is, delete my post. Edit it, lock the thread, give me a warning, ban me, whatever. But know this: I have been waiting since the day I first saw Sylhana post for this day, this inquiry, and I'm glad it has finally come. _SunTzu_, I have done what you asked. There is no excuse for botting or helping others bot. Besides the lack of a screenshot, there is hard evidence of Sylhana encouraging botters to continue what they were doing, solving their problems, and even figuring out was was wrong with bots. And, I mean, what else can mean credits in this game? Credits for e-cookies from Kratos? I don't think so. Kratos never e-baked e-cookies to the best of my knowledge.

^Sylhana broke the rules no matter what. Sharing accounts is against Joymax ToS. Now if the Admins are going to bend the rules for 1 user then i think it would be fair that everyone else gets a second chance. Anyways after all this and Sylhana isn't banned/ or 7 ban for account sharing it says alot about the forum rules

Don't worry about post count man. I see people on SRF who I respect more than most elite members daily who have <500 posts, and my other SRF account's been here since July 06, so I've seen a lot of elite members. It's a very valid point you made.

Though a quick point: I don't know, and don't know if anyone here knows, whether or not Sylhana has reconsidered his ways. I think he is a very nice, mature member. However, he has violated the rules, as is (hopefully) clear to people who read the entire thread, particularly page 2.

I will back ForLife up on this fact... the people that have played on pacific from the off like my self know that Sylhana isnt exactly legit, He was one of the main people in not only the Br0thers guild but also in the community of the server. Br0thers didnt accept legit players as my esteemed friend mentioned which means even in the bots eyes he was or isnt legit.

We all know how he capped on Herc before even the botters, and people that played on pacific know how he was one of the first people to cap out on pacific. Pacific was no ordinary server either.. I can honestly say it was probably the most intensivly botted server at the time of its relese and posibly ever. Him caping out before 90% of the server should be enough to riase questions... but he also managed to get hold of Sun Blade and Sun Shield and I think aslo Sun Garm pieces if not a set.... This while do able on a server like pacific isnt doable by a legit at that time simply becasuse of the players that were on the server.

The fact that he already had an 80 chara on pacific before 90% of the server is strnage but then he also had I belive a 67 chara on the server as well. Now I am not one to blow my own horn but I was one of the highest level legits on the server, with only 4 possible 5 legits higher than me at the time and I was only just hitting the 70s so for somebody not only to have a fully farmed 80 with suns but also to have a 67 chara just doesnt seem do able.

I havent mentioned this before now simply because I do not have a screenshot of him botting or anything like that, although I might have one if I hadnt lost all my pacific screenshots on the client reinstall.

In my mind atleast there is just way to much evidence that points to him botting and not enough that points the other way.

As people that know me can back up I play SRO more than most people do or should inorder to be healthy, and I knew alot of what went on in Pacific either through first hand knowledge or though _SunTzu_ and other players, and I never heard anything that stated Sylhana was a legit player... when people talked about who was the highest legit he was NEVER counted on the list... Lee was mostof the time counted as that player even though most knew he wasnt all that legit either, so thats also food for thought, if somebody who wasnt all that legit was counted as the highest legit... what was Sylhana doing not to be counted on it.

Yes, all I did was linked members to what they were searching. It helps when you know alot about this game. Did I ever used them myself? no. Was the first to 80 because I shared play my account. But you had to post a screen shot from my own forum, which sadly isnt even active anymore. I was guild master and did what I had to do to keep my guild active.

why not remove this whole forum since we already broke joymax TOS by accepting pk2 tutorials.

people sharing account can be considered unfair towards other players but it should be accepted they are working for their levels and not botting. Joymax probably forbid sharing accounts simply because that could be a second account buying silk.
selling accounts is a personal thing, some chargeback to get their money back others sell the account. i rather see people choose the second choice.

Sharing accounts isn't against the ToS. I guess many people don't know what a "joint account" is.

The sale of items and accounts for real money/goods, other game account/item sale, illegal joint account sharing

It was brought up on the same issue of selling and buying items so its not hard to figure out what definition of a joint account that JM was referring to. Furthermore, joint accounts aren't illegal, just illegal joint accounts as stated in the ToS or Operation Policy.

The information about me on pacific is farce. I wasnt one of the first to get 80. I stopped lvling at 69, and farmed an 8 gap on pegs, for 2 weeks. When I finally reached cap, partly farmed, it took me 9 weeks in total. The sun blade I got as a drop, the sun shield I got was a drop from a friend, the other sun pieces I bought using gold I inherited from 1Love who quit the server. We recruited any player that can level fast enough, we didnt say no to legits. We wanted a fast leveling guild, we got the result. Nobody talked about my char cause nobody saw my char much. Why isnt there a pic of my char (at all) other than after the fact I had those suns?

Whether or not he actually bots (most signs hint towards yes) he shows enough support and help toward botters to justify a temp ban and removal of mod powers at the very least.

That is if it is decided that he doesn't bot...

Oh wow wait a minute.. So....... Luoma gets banned with imformation of him talking about bots..... But Sylhana is ok and he was also found with alot imformation which leads him to botting...? Umhhhhh i smell foul play.. Old member or not Luoma and Sylhana should be treated equally. They were both found botting i say they both get the same punishment.

What I wrote on my own forums (which I am the admin of) or how I decided to run my guild and union, can be independent of my own ideals for the game, or my actions on how I played my char. What I provided on my forum for my guild, is a one stop point of information, and my personal outlet for sarcasm and frustrations of the game. If you fail to see this, it isnt your fault, as I am as much secretive with my personality as I am eccentric.

P.s I started posting here just at the end of my peak on Pacific. When I became more active on SRF, it was after I started playing on Hercules. What unfolded on Pacific, does not in any way reflect my attitude on the forums as you have known me.
