... i was wondering how long it'd take before item mall stuff started showing up in here ;) hey Kabi, is there a policy on this stuff? should there be? i know the forum rules state that you can't advertise for sale in-game objects for cash value, but what about cash-valued objects for in-game money?

I hvae to agree.

Its your money and if you want to waste it for ingame gold then go on.

But soem items can be bought of players ingame tyhen sold here so you can really block this on any level

My thoughts.

Almost everyone wants a monkey, and understandably so. There are many people who can't buy silk or don't have a credit card, and I think it would be utterly unfair if there was no way for them to enjoy pets too.

However, I see a lot of shady swindling, scamming and lies. People saying "current bid is 5m" and really they have no bid. They are just saying that to encourage people to pay more.

The marketplace is for special things, needfull items or things you cannot find. Item mall items are everywhere in game. You can easily find a monkey or four-week gold without posting it in the forum.

BUT... I dont mind people offering (x) gold plus a monkey on an item.

Some rules need to be determined. But it will be very hard to enforce any of the rules about item mall. People don't read the forum rules as it is.

Ni kidding. Someone was global chatting yesterday on Athens about selling a 4-week gold ticket and they kept claiming the bid was getting higher and higher. The person said it was sold finally for 3 BILLION, which I think is an obvious lie.
