Hey, I'm going by kagenutto's great sp farming tutorial, i'm choosing to go the korean route though... so my character is at level 16 and i've farmed up several thousand sp already in the past few days, as well as about 400k gold, so i went around trying to find an SOS bow but it seems like everyone is trying to get like 1 million plus for them, and in kagenutto's tutorial he says it's like about 200k-500k ish which, to me seems pretty reasonable... but babel seems to be a lot more expensive than that, and for a noobie like me, it's going to take me like until i've already painfully saved up 30, 000 sp just to afford the damn thing... so like... can somebody cut me a deal? all i want to do is be able to kill bandit archers in 1-2 hits. right now it's 3-5 and i'm having to compete with other people who have SOS bows and it makes it really difficult

so if someone can cut me a deal i'd really appreciate it... again, I have 400k+ saved up, including a bunch of return scrolls (because i've just been letting myself die to get back to town anyway) (nearing 20, which i've seen being sold for about 25-50k in jangan, so i'm hoping that can be used as a bargaining chip too haha)

Look for a +4 bow instead, it should be almost as effective and a lot cheaper.

awww man... i couldn't find a bow like that... but i found a "weapon elixir" ... tried it on my +2 bow which had something like 128 magic damage and like 80 something physical... and the darn thing failed... ... i hate learning the hard way sometimes...

This game should come with a free coupon for a day spa.


anyway, so it's down to like 70 something phys. and like 115 magic dmg. pain in the butt.

and i'm out a ton of money... it was like 150k for that bow and like 250k for the stupid elixir.

yea, it definitely is cheaper to find one already upgraded. i wasted 5 shield elixirs(and five 4th degree powders) on this stupid shield, and never got it to +3. now it's blank and i'm pissed.

Yeah, really not worth it in my opinion to ever try +3 on a 3rd degree or lower weapon unless it's already got a seal on it and you can spare the cash for a possibility of selling it at a profit. Even +1-2 is dubious because at those levels you can buy any +1 weapon for less than the price of the elixir, and +2 for not much more.

I only got +3 on my 9th elixir..and the shield is only lv18 =(

I had (+0) after my ninth weapon elixir. Which I why I am poor.

I bougth a LVL 13 bow with +4 today for 200K...(and a lvl 8 SoS sword for 25K but thats another story) so just look for those bows because they are almost the same and a lot cheaper

I just got(dropped just 5 min. a go) a LVL 16 bow with
immortal 6 times
Int 1 increase

So I guess I can try the elixer 6 times without having to be afraid it failes and go down/broke

thats something for you to take a look at, SoStar +1 with every stat lower then a normal +4 except for crit.

the sos one was going for 900k and the normal one for 300k

You can't really compare those, they are completely different items. One is level 16 and one is level 21.
